Second week in a row the AFL have stuffed up. Thomas not getting off last week and Selwood getting 3 next week. Cant wait till a player finally gets off and it will be the currupt AFL again.

Ouch... someone must of seen it then

We couldn't beat them without him last time, see what happens this time
If we can pull one out of the hat we might scrape into the 8 yet

I think he is lucky to get offered three.

Out of character for him, very good footballer, will be having a few sleepless nights I reckon.

According to MMM it was a combination of what Guerra said and the medical report from the Hawthorn doctor !!

It might be out of character, but a Perforated Eardrum is a hefty crunch, whether retaliation or not.

SEN commentators appear to be viewing vision and Dermie said he is lucky to be only offered 4 and should NOT contest..

just as well he doesn't have carryover- or another 25-50% would have it around the 7 that bakes got.

I burst my eardrum playing footy and it's not much fun. It doesn't seem to take a hard hit to burst it - a cupped hand slap across the side of the head will do.

I'd say hes lucky to be offered the 3. The MRP could easily have classed the impact as severe considering the injury to Guerra.

3 weeks for boxing someone's ears to point of causing deafness. Quite lenient when put into context.

Remember, Steven Baker was given 10 weeks for accidently running into Jeff Farmer.

I imagine Duckhead would have used his head to ram Guerra's ear.

They both got 4 weeks and it was no accident.

How do you know re Baker?

If you saw it, what did you see?

I've always wanted to know myself...

I think his exact words was 7 weeks seems about right but he as still pissed off with what the club told him to say. He thought he would get off. I never asked what he actually did.

I didn't think there was any doubt Bakes did something, deliberately, it was just the audacity of the tribunal to give him 7 weeks with no evidence to charge him with!

And he wasn't the ONLY one who was pissed off with what hapened before and during that Tribunal Hearing. From what I have heard & read there were two ways they could have gone. They chose the defence they did and the rest is history !!
