Why does Ross not play him as a Mid?
Its Luke Ball all over again, both played the same sort of game.
When Lenny went down he stepped up bravely and was amazing.
In a handful of games he was our best mid hands down.
So why doesnt he get played in there?

I agree. As if we arent putting him in the middle because he might be leaving. If they are going for his type then it is going to be a long 10 years. He is out of the middle because Jack does it better, actually much better.Spinner wrote:GWS really going to give him a contract based on a few handy games?
He'd struggle up there as much as he does down here.
No co-incidence our forward tackling has improved since he moved forward.plugger66 wrote:I agree. As if we arent putting him in the middle because he might be leaving. Lance or James??

Love Armo and how he has developed this year, but I have a bad feeling he'll find himself down at Sandy this week or next...
Steven does do the clearence and spread work better, but Armo deserves more gametime in the middle IMO... The 2 of them compliment each other well...
He has been first cab down the rank the last few seasons, and is trending this way again IMO...
Can see Mini as an in for that role he did so well in '09...

Clearances were 36-31, hardly "smashed"BigMart wrote:We got smashed in centre clearances......

Id love to see the starting midfield group as Steven, Armo and Dal/JonesSobraz wrote:Love Armo and how he has developed this year, but I have a bad feeling he'll find himself down at Sandy this week or next...

Err...
Since Steven swapped with Armo we have been a better team...and Steven has really taken off. Armo has been good to fair..though today was a bit queit.
But lets look at the main positive...Steven is playing very good football.
Steven > Armo
But hey let's appease the masses and swap back and start losing again.

Where do you reckon he's at DWOODROW? Where's his head at?DWOODROW wrote:Should have been subbed in the third qtr.

Dave has Minis spot and he is probably still holding the spot for now. He is looking tired as the season progresses but love the way he attacks horizontally, NRL style. The defensive forward role is a shitty unglamorous role but Armo at least seems to chase hard and tackle harder than Mac qualter was early this season.

Because he's been reading Saintsational and thought he is as good as Lenny and should have played 150 games by now.plugger66 wrote:Why?DWOODROW wrote:dcstkfc wrote:Where do you reckon he's at DWOODROW? Where's his head at?DWOODROW wrote:Should have been subbed in the third qtr.

Lucky no-one at Sandy (maybe with the exception of McQ), is putting their hand up for a senior game, as I think Armo is a little off the boil and gets caught a bit too easy, though tackling is good. If he stays on our list, I reckon a summer of running, especially sprinting would be the go for him, as he just doesn't look fit enough for a midfielder

Smashed? Hardly alright. Lost 31-36 total clearances, but we only lost 9-10 in centre clearances. We actually lost 12-19 in throw-in clearances. Yet won 10-7 ball-up clearances.joffaboy wrote:Clearances were 36-31, hardly "smashed"BigMart wrote:We got smashed in centre clearances......
He is the new 'eddy'
Actually won stoppage first possessions 40-31 (13-7 at the centre bounce). We could get our hands on the ball at stoppages, just failed to get that final clearing disposal.
