Why the lack of interest in this week's game??

Post: # 1108686Post saintspremiers »

I log on at 5.10pm, only about 5 formunites on to see the team/discuss it.

Very little discussion about the game this Friday also.

Is it a let-down game after a big win against a good side?

Do we all expect (as I do), that the Crows will roll over and we will pump them??

And yet many think we will get a 30K+ crowd.

I'm lost.

Because of the constant negativity of some posters on here, many regulars have left.

It has wrecked the forum.....

Lance or James??

Saints fans still getting over the excitement of last week!

It's a slow burn this week. I also think that getting 30K + to this week's Friday night game in mid-winter, will be a struggle.

The Crows set up well against us. It won't be an easy match, but we should definitely win IMO - more to play for.

it's a dangerous time to be thinking about footy for a saints supporter. we've got three easy games coming up. win them all and we'll be seen as true finals contenders, but if we lose just one we're gone. (despite still being a chance of playing finals.)

so don't wanna get too worked up this far out, keeping the lid on.

I actually can't wait for tomorow night...

Get us in the black for the first time this season on the win/loss, and build more momentum...

I'm hanging for it! Adelaide are not flying these days but they beat us at AAMI and we owe them for that. We have to get our confidence back, and a few players still need to get form back before finals.

Plus we need to develop our attacking game, this could help. Get down there and cheer on my behalf!

Dunno if Saints people had the stuffing knocked out of them after the last three GFs, but our supporters seem to be a pretty quiet bunch this season at games- most of the opposition support seems more vocal..and this is not typical of Saints supporters in the past. Not much discussion on the forum in general..I think the euphoria of being up there for so long with a strong team, and now we watch some kind of shadow of what we know has tipped a few over the edge -even Saints supporters at work don't talk much about games any more. Jeez get along to the footy and... SCREAM FOR THE SAINTS!!

Friday Night Football
St. Kilda vs Adelaide
one team is fighting for a spot in the 8, the other is just ourtight crap.

that is why there is little interest in the game.

No, it was on Thursday afternoon last week at least 48 hours before the game was expected to start.....

Or because if you make any sort of observation That is not inline with club decisions (on a supporter forum mind you) it is met with contempt and it turns into a 'my dicks bigger than yours' slanging match....

Of course they are the guardians of truth and knowledge though.... And their contempt is not arrogance...

Or they could be swamped at work this week??

Would that be those questions that suggest that we have players on our list that are s***, should never play again, be traded or point out every missed trading opportunity or ex player that has gone on.

The gane is on love free to air on Prime up here tonight, so I'll be able to watch the boys live - rare for me, as I work some Friday nights.

Haven't seen the boys live on TV since the Melbourne game.

But next week i'll be at Metricon to see them LIVE!!!

note- am not going to watch Suns/Filth tomorrow night. Not keen so I gave my season tickets to a friend who is a Filth fan.

Its unusual as she is pretty civilised for a Filth supporter, though she keeps asking, 'whats this Filth talk' when i txted her about it!
