Our Gameplan

Post: # 1141785Post St Loxton »

Now its the end of and era. What should our new gameplan be?

With the current list, excluding the players that are "leaving", what changes would you like to see happen. What positional changes would you do, what strategies would you employ?

where did i say everyone else is going
the names mentioned are off the trade table for me

other names not mentioned would be on the trade table
that doesnt mean they all leave does it?
if half, three qtrs or nearly all the remaining not mentioned stayed then so be it

but as if you are going to trade 20 odd players

If the right deal came along for any player on the list then we should consider it. I'd have Goddard as our closest thing to an un-tradeable player.

So you are assuming we neither draft nor trade for anyone who can step straight into our best 22??

Where will the improvement come from?

:?:

I asked a simple question. I said it sounded like a lot were going because you mentioned poor and average skilled players should go. When did i mention half the list. Why have you got this he is after me mentality. It was a simple question and I just wanted to see who you thought should go. Dont be so paranoid.

have a look at the forward pocket there.. b fevola.
none of the players taken out of that 22 from our elim final 22 have trade currency, certainly get rid of as many as possible.. but pelchen isn't a miracle worker. he's not just going to get quality players for roleplayers.
the improvement will come from a team with a creative streak that have had defense drilled into them.. reload go again in 2012. if it doesn't work, goddard to gws for two priorities and start the rebuild process again.

Play players who can beat their opponent without half the team having to help them!

We definitely need to get some senior games into Walsh. The bloke is a dynamic athlete with natural ability. He's not learning much at VFL level. I'd like to see that change for a start.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Now there's one bloke who definitely should be happy.

Providing Perichen likes him of course
