Oh how sweet it would be to knock out Fremantle in a prelim final (Dockers up by 15 points with 10 minutes to go, try to lock up the game only for Saad, Milney and Riewoldt to goal) to face Sydney, where Tommy Walsh has a set shot 15m out directly in front after the final siren to win Sydney the flag, and hits the post. In that case, I'd almost forgive the football world for all of the suffering inflicted on St Kilda.

Obviously all this comes after Collingwood were caught doping, fined $500,000, had Dane Swan banned from the game and had their draft picks for the next 3 years stripped from them, and Geelong finally slow down too much and miss the finals.

Sydney should have already been on it. But doubly so now.

Considering I live in Sydney, they are always on my list. However, I though that maybe you Victorians wouldn't have them on it. I guess they did knock us off in the elimination final.

If you can't find a reason to hate every team, you're not really trying.

So the reasons for hating each club are:

Adelaide - 1997
Brisbane - Thugs picking on injured Roo
Carlton - Can't hate them, there cheating gave us BJ
Collingwood - Luke Ball saga, 2010, Malthouse, Buckley being rated ahead of Harvey
Essendon - Bit of a bogey team, polished up a #2 and sold it to us
Freo - Lyin Lyon
Geelong - 2009
Gold Coast - didnt overpay one of our B-graders and give us good compensation picks
GWS - didnt offer us picks 1-3 + Jaeger for BJ
Hawthorn - Stole a premiership and we didnt
Melbourne - they play at the MCG all the time and we dont get to
North Melbourne - they havent moved to Tasmania or Canberra thus oversaturating the Melbourne market
Port Adelaide - 2004
Richmond - Aaron Fiora
Sydney - they stole our Full Forward (take your pick!!!)
West Coast - bottomed out before the compromised draft period - thats not fair
Western Bulldogs - our rival in Rivalry Round

Still got to love University, beat our consecutive losing games record.

Carlton handed us belting after belting after belting for years and years.

In fact, I do believe that St.Kilda and Carlton have THE most lopsided win/loss ratio of any two teams, even including the 12 straight or so that we recently won against them. They should be hated until we square the ledger.

And Carlton voted to have us wound up at a creditors' meeting. That club can fold as far as I'm concerned. The only time I'd cross the street to urinate on one of them is if they WEREN'T on fire.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Indeed. Awesome_Days if you don't HATE Carlton you are either:
(a) not old enough to have lived our miserable history with them;
(b) don't know any Carlton supporters;
(c) have no soul

Hungry for a Premiership, it is not "until we square the ledger." We should hate them for all eternity.

Sorry guys, as you can see, I'm terribly scarred.

I am definately not old enough to remember the bad things about Carlton, all I know is salary cap rorting and years at the bottom of the ladder getting high draft picks.

...Or Heath Shaw caught gambling again on football matches and he lies to the Club who initially believe he hasn't been gambling again, only to find out the truth. My information however suggests Shaw has been betting again on football matches during his suspension and the club is aware - fool.

Carlton always on top of this list for mine. Cheating, lying sumbags who tried to vote us out of the competition. That smug song....

I still want vengence on Luke Ball and his agent Connors, Eddie McGuire, Mick Malthouse & Ross Lyon.
And that sl*t who brought down our players.

carlton?

A family of Melbournes most notorious drug dealers actually had one of carltons premiership cups. But they did earn it, and I guess they probably deserved a few more as well. One of their most decorated players has admitted being wacked out of his scone while playing, and when retired supplying the younger players with the stuff required to dominate.

Oh yeah, they cheated the salary cap since it was implemented, and when they were busted they needed afl assistance to pay the fines, yet every year since they have posted a record profit.

And walls.
