Speaks well, confidently.

At the club for first time today, like an induction.

He had no idea he would get picked up in the trade, and was waiting for the draft He was in Thailand on holidays. Was contacted by Elshaugh and said yes to the Saints.

Said he had a good year last year and was helped by team mates, has worked hard on fitness and muscle.

Said his strength is pace, not a bad mark for a small guy and has good defensive pressure and can kick a goal.

Says Ramadan and fasting will not be an issue as he's used to it, but will take advice from physios etc. Says prayers etc. are not a problem, just a normal part of his life - no problem.

Was just a chance to meet a few people today, and will start full time training on 7th November.

Does indeed.

I like the fact Saad and Milera are a little older and have had to work hard to get on an AFL list. At least you know they're gonna give it their best shot. Not like some 17 year olds who worry more about the limelight for two years and suddenly they're delisted.

Now whether their best will be good enough; well that's another question :?

really good point and a focus we need to have. Similar to having those who have had it hard in their past and pushed through it as development coaches.

Can't wait for the Marquis as someone named him to get out there. He is an excitement machine and will be a nice contrast from the dour crap we have been watching for the last couple of seasons. It's a shame we didn't have him the last couple of years, he would have been handy.
