I checked out that old fav' website ecospill, and on their homepage it still reads:

– Are you looking for www.saintsational.com? The owners of that website are experiencing problems and for some reason are re-directing that site here. Ecospill has no control over this. However we have our web developer working with the owner of saintsational to help them rectify the error. Please be patient and check back regularly to see whether your site has been restored. We’re St Kilda fans too! –


....so it begs the questions, is ecospill run by barks4eva and will they sponsor us now?

It's good that they are being good sports about it, "St Kilda fans too!". I imagine they would have got a bit of free traffic and publicity out of this

It was a bit mean, but it's actually not a bad strategy when you come to think about it. From what Battye has reported about the state of the relationship between the web provider and us, they are unlikely to move at anything other than glacial speed in fixing our problems.

On the other hand, an angry commercial client would be better placed to push the web provider into rapid action.

All that said, it wasn't me who sent them a nasty email.
