I don't reckon that's true, I thought he was a RWB boy myself.

The only element I'd believe, is it wouldn't surprise me if they started sniffing around in 2010, when he was left out of GF1.

I'd still be shocked if he left though, I love the Owl.

Oh, and your rumour about trading Nicky Dal didn't quite work out.

Are you just going by a couple comments on BigFooty where we were discussing the Goldstein re-signing and the implications it COULD have with McEvoy being out of contract? Or have you actually heard he has signed yourself?

Isn't GWS's poaching period over now?

Aren't they part of the normal rules now given they are part of the 2012 season?

I vaguely remember hearing something along the lines of them getting an extra year of access to players out of contract.

that's as i beleive it also- hence the BJ rumours persist as well---- although he appears to have gathered a little bonus in the last couple of weeks.

BJ I thought was regarding his limited free agency meaning he could go anywhere as long as they pay him more than we can and we receive some compo based on some wacky AFL formula?

OP has form.
Please do not shoot the messenger on this but I was told something by a good sauce that I imagine many here won't believe. Chris Pelchin has decided that a full rebuild Hawthorn style is the way to go and such some very good assets need to go to make the build happen. Pelchin apparently views Nicky Dal as the clubs best option to look at trading and the GWS rumour involving Goddard has some merit if you swap Goddard for NDS.

Flame away

If it's worth anything, Big Mac recently bought a house and is looking to settle down with his girlfriend.

that's a silly thing to do if you plan to move state next year.

Only reason for him to leave would be money, because I'm sure he knows his worth at St Kilda

Ooooo yes I am. The guy that ran around our forward line attempting to tackle players and would struggle to do so.

The player that would handball off to another 40 meters out from goal on a simple angle.

The guy that does f-all on the field.

From what i saw in 2009 McQualter was far from soft. Obviously he struggled last year with form. But he isint soft. Maybe the reason he would handball off was to give to to a better kick. Seemed to work plenty of times. Do you watch the game?

One year out of 8/9 he was with the football club and you perceive him as not being soft?

Hmmmmm.

An AFL player dishes off from 40? No you go back and kick the goal.

I do watch the game however not through rose-coloured glasses.
