I think 8 or 9 out of the last 50 mate. And to think back in the 70s we used to beat em twice in a year sometimes.

Thought they might be ugly. Hawks numbers are surprisingly good.samuraisaint wrote:I think 8 or 9 out of the last 50 mate. And to think back in the 70s we used to beat em twice in a year sometimes.

Re: 7 consecutive wins
And we all know they deserved a flag. But, flags are won on a fly kick in the last five minutes, a missed jumper pull in the last 20 minutes, a poster scored a goal for the opposition, and too many to count self inflicted missed opportunities. Then again, a fluke bounce a year later, could have made up for it. But it didn't (fluke bounce that is). We press on.samuraisaint wrote:7 against Doggies

Re: 7 consecutive wins
To be fair, we are 136-81-4 since the start of 2003. We should have good records against most sides.

Re: 7 consecutive wins
We would have to be one of the best performed Clubs this Century - along with Geelong.

Brisbane have done ok.
Re: 7 consecutive wins
The Bombers, Lions, Port, Swans, Eagles, Cats and Pies have something this century we don't. Premierships. We would be the best club NOT to win a premiership this century.

Don't forget the Hawks - they got one too. Mind you, the way they're traveling I don't think they will get another one this year.

Re: 7 consecutive wins
Depressing!
But a thought occured to me at half time in '09 GF.
How would we (supporters) handle a flag.
Not as though we have a template to follow, unless you count the filths reaction post 1990.
