Quote From Today's Article In The Age...

Post: # 1235680Post St Chris »

.....Arguably at the moment its (St Kilda's) most important structural player is Rhys Stanley.

I know, it sounds silly, but it is true. When Stanley plays, the forwards play better, the ruck performs better, he can run deep to defence. He is as important a player as there is there at the moment perhaps outside of Hayes in the middle.

Add's mor evalue than Kosi and we keep playing him for "Structure".
Nig Rhys can run, jump and tackle, I think the last tackle Kosi laid was in 2008. Certainly the future.

Stanley is our X factor, he could be anything and now that he is showing what he is capable of, could become a top 5 player in the AFL.
Let's face it, if gets hot, very hard match up, anyone tall enough to play on him can't keep up with him for pace, and anyone who can match him for pace, can't compete height wise.
They have to get his hamstrings right and I don't care if they pay money to Usain Bolt's coach to do so.

For mine, this is the best and most important resigning news we will have this season.

[Stanley is] the only Tall attacking prospect to have shown anything significant since 2001, bar Jarryd Allen.

With Kosi and Rooey only a couple of years left and only one other ruckman on the list he's mighty important to us both now and into the future.

Just watched back first quarter and although he had a few dud kicks he was very valuable. I reckon he was a big factor in Roos win. And take away Blake and sick Kosi who did nothing - and you have the factors which really helped the Kangaroos cause. Sad to only get a handful of games from Stanley in 2 years. By the way .... what's happening to Sydney's Golden Boy Tommy??

So I take it you are unable to define the term yourself. Thanks for nothing.

Structural I fear refers to his permanently flawed hamstring!
