They play for different teams, so no would be the answer.plugger66 wrote:Arent you allowed to have both in the same side?

Really I didnt know that. Im suggesting both would be good though even though I completely agree with what the club did. i just dont like the arrogance that suggests BJ was a no body. Dont expect anyone to agree though.

Now how did I do that? maybe you should read another thread. Steve Salopek.andrewg wrote:Trust plugger to shut down a moment of hope and excitement.

Re: Aaryn Siposs
Was very good but he is another one who looks like he could get injured at any moment. In another couple of years, with a little more bulk, he will be a beauty, hopefully not at some other club.

Re: Aaryn Siposs
Siposs is a great kick, no doubt about that, however he just couldn't judge the ball today and got nowhere near it many times when trying to mark or spoil. Also still doesn't seem to have much of a tank.
Having said all that I love him as a player and it is only early in his season and his career.
I hope he goes on to be better than BJ. Here's hoping.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Time will tell, he's done everything right so far.bergsone wrote:felix wrote:He's the 65 meter pass specialist .
better than BJ ?
I reckon he could be a future captain.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

I think he ihas a more penetrating kick than BJ , actually looks more composed than BJ but BJ has the runs on the board .

Re: Aaryn Siposs
If Sippa keeps his head screwed on and gets a bit stronger. Sheesh hes going to be a very very good player in the BJ mould.
If Sippa, Hickey and Newnes are the future leaders of the club I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Re: Aaryn Siposs
Siposs has fantastic awareness when in traffic and moves so well for his size. Looking everything t that we are hoping for
Re: Aaryn Siposs
Not taking anything away from young Sippa but I reckon BJ has him covered in kicking skills. Sippa is a beautiful long kick but tends to bomb it. BJ's kicks are more penetrating - laser like.
I reckon for Sippa to become elite he needs to work on his tank - tends to fade and doesnt get enough of the pill. Great potenial though.

Re: Aaryn Siposs
Siposs will be better than Goddard imo.
At least a club B&F and a couple all australians. That's BJ covered.
Shite, it's not like BJ is some great of the game. Dal, Riewoldt, Fisher, Lenny, all better players.

Re: Aaryn Siposs
I loved BJ but he was looking quite possibly the worst number 1 draft pick ever at the same stage of his career. BJ has the runs on the board but Siposs is a baby and already looks like he has a massive future.
Re: Aaryn Siposs
Do not agree with this at all... IMO he is one of the better no.1 picks... Roo is the top of that tree..gringo wrote:I loved BJ but he was looking quite possibly the worst number 1 draft pick ever at the same stage of his career.
Re: Aaryn Siposs
Sorry, may have misunderstood... Do you mean at the same stage Sip is at now??... Even still, thought he was tracking fine and unfairly criticized, much like Watts now...Sobraz wrote:Do not agree with this at all... IMO he is one of the better no.1 picks... Re: Aaryn Siposs
Fair criticism,.definitely warranted. The kid is only 20 with under 20 games to his name, so we cant expect him to be an agrader this year.Old Mate wrote:Not taking anything away from young Sippa but I reckon BJ has him covered in kicking skills. Re: Aaryn Siposs
Agree siposs is going to be great - but at this point still has some work to do on his tank - or maybe its just about getting more experienced with when he needs to run hard and when he can take the foot off a bit - pretty sure he needs to improve his tank thoughOld Mate wrote:Not taking anything away from young Sippa but I reckon BJ has him covered in kicking skills.
