He needs some more bulk and intensity at the ball, but he should develop a lot further with more games. The Dogs pounded us at centre bounces.

Lenny would be his ideal mentor - follow his lead son!

I think based on last night Hrovat would get the rising star nominatiion. Had a great debut game.

I was a big rap for him, but....

Last night he had 22 possessions but, to be honest, I didn't notice too many hurting the opposition. I spotted him as, I thought, totally out of gas before 3/4 time and can only assume Lenny was sore when subbed-out. I thought Ross was cooked and sure to be benched.

His inability to chase an opponent in the last quarter saw the Bulldogs goal and just about summed up the night. I pointed it our to the bloke sitting behind me and declared us as shot.

A really poor sign from a young bloke who is supposed to be staking his claim in the team.

Agree entirely. He could barely lay a finger on the Dogs. Hopefully he keeps improving all areas.

plenty wanted Hrovat at the saints and Koby Stevens- they look pretty handy from a distance.

The tree was called Kerridge, and it was heard alright.
