Re: No Late Changes
It was predictable that Curren would be the sub, but, how does sitting on the pine help him adjust to AFL footy ?
How does that help him prove he can play at AFL level ?
How does that help him prove he can play at AFL level ?
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
Re: No Late Changes
It doesn't. But it lets him earn a full game in the next couple of weeks - basically guarantees him another game. It's only a disgrace if he gets dropped after only playing a quarter.Wayne42 wrote:It was predictable that Curren would be the sub, but, how does sitting on the pine help him adjust to AFL footy ?

Re: No Late Changes
Did wonders for Terry's confidence over the past 2 Weeks. He's now played 2 qtrs of footy in the last 20 days after coming off a 5 goal game. I hate the sub rule.bergholt wrote:It doesn't. Re: No Late Changes
Curren being sub will likely mean he plays a full game next week unless he is injured or has a howler. That tends to be SW way with the younger guys, give them the vest then a full game the following week. In the end it ensures Curren plays two games, at least.
