A couple of incidents over the past couple of weeks has lead me to wonder whether it's better to win by cheating or at least bending the rules; or is it better to play fair.
For example broad not walking, bell not accepting smiths catch, port player dropping ball to get a 50 metre penalty, Essendon player told by umpire that he faked.....
I personally am finding sport very hard to follow right now. Used to think winning at all cost was the be all but now not sure.

Haddin didn't walk either.

Difference between a feather, which barely came up.... On the inside
And smashing it to first slip....
Broad referred again, the players walked off without even waiting for the dismissal...

He didn't "smash" it to first slip. He nicked it to the keeper who failed to glove it and then went to first slip.BigMart wrote:Difference between a feather, which barely came up.... On the inside

Haddin knew he hit it. He has admitted that.
Clarke also hit his and, not only refused to walk, but sent it upstairs for review.
As a batsman you know you've it hit when the bat is unimpeded. The only time you're ever not sure is when you've hit something else as well (pad/ground).
