Mitch Brown Gone - West Coast
Just announced on SEN (4pm) that West Coast have just re-signed Brown for a further 3 years.
His indications that he wanted to come to us are short-lived. Looking after his best interests I suppose.
He would not have been a great get in my opinion. At least it allows the scouts to look seriously elsewhere.

Reported by Langdon on Twitter yesterday, but being Langdon, I didn't want to post it here.
Too bad. We look elsewhere.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Watson makes Brown look like Silvagni. No loss IMO but you watch he will now be seen as the worst footballer to ever play for WCE.

Just hope we don't throw everything at trying to secure just an average backman.b

Re: Mitch Brown Gone - West Coast
Not perplexed, said all along I'm not sold on him.
I am SO annoyed the club has gone two years without a full back, but no point entering a bidding war and paying overs for him.
This was always a likely scenario anyhow.
We need to target someone attainable, someone maybe we can develop?

I don't think they'll let him go, clearly Mick has moved past Laidler and Duiganstinger wrote:footynut wrote:Dont think he's a massive lost. I think we should Target Watson from the Blues

Good! Move along now. Nothing to see here!

TBH, never looked THAT good anyway.
I watched him when we played WC... didn't do much.

That's no loss...
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Re: Mitch Brown Gone - West Coast
The thing that I liked about the whole Mitch Brown thing was the open aggressiveness shown towards recruiting. SW and Pelchin seem to approach things a lot differently in that regard so let's hope they publicly announce their next target soon.

To be fair, Roberton did not set the world on fire at the Dockers. 1 trust in our talent identification of mature aged players.stinger wrote:i watched him closely after we showed an interest......just a footballer to me......Junction Oval wrote:Just announced on SEN (4pm) that West Coast have just re-signed Brown for a further 3 years.
