can't we turn him into a back man- we've done it before-- I wondered what position he played..

Re: Patrick karnezis
I have to believe the people on here but he seems like he can play from the little bits I have seen of him. He does have cool hair. Roberton, Simpkin and the Carnation could make a pretty hairy lot- if Shents can get a run we could market ourselves to Garnier Fructis as a major sponsor.

What a load of crap!
Karnezis has good foot skills, especially compared to any of the young guys on our list!

Siposs' kicking is his greatest attribute.
I'm not sure that Markworth is incredibly bad either.
But I guess the grass is always greener, and any player on anyone else's list that cant get a gave is always better than anyone on our list.

Re: Patrick karnezis
I take my DT pretty seriously so kept an eye on this kid in preseason when he was getting good numbers. From what I saw this year, albeit 5 games worth, I will stick to my comment, which mind you didn't actually mention foot skills...sax wrote:St Ick wrote:Ledge cant get a game due to poor execution and decision making. Re: Patrick karnezis
I think he is one of those players who will go to another club and explode. He has been struggling living up in Brissy for a couple of years now and could do a Roberton in a new environment. Not sure we need a mid sized forward though unless he can play midfield probably not for us.
Re: Patrick karnezis
He's a Collingwood fan, so if Collingwood are a Karnezis fan that's probably the way it will go.

Re: Patrick karnezis
Has gone from a floating forward to a genuine midfielder.
Gets a load of the ball in lower level competition and uses it very well.
I am also surprised he can't get a run at Brisbane, maybe he can't bridge the gap between levels.
Good size, good overhead and good kick and from what I have read has increased his running capacity.
He looks like one of those guys (moneyballer's) Sydney pluck from an opposition club and turn into a very good footballer.
Ben McGlynn, Josh Kennedy, Ted Richards, Shane Mumford, Rhys Shaw, Mark Bolton - all different type of players but fringe players at their clubs who became good footballers for the Swans.
Worth a shot in my opinion.
