Mark Hutchins just played a blinder for west perth, winning the Simpson medal for best on ground, why did we let a highly rated junior go after just one year?????

A young guy Nick Rodda went okay as well was talked about a late pick last yeas draft, decent size and can play down back.

rodda did alright but he needs more time

I wanted Rodda last year as he has some nice size to him and seems to be a decent player.

Mark was one who needed a developement period- as he himself said earlier in the year- it was 2010 when he was cut from the saints- it has taken 2 years of solid work to get back on another rookie list- and then ended the year out of the eagles side..
so it is 3 years since first drafted as a rookei

i watched the game
not sold on rodda at all. big lump of a kid but doesn't look athletic enough for the afl and doesnt excite me (bookmark this and make fun of me in 5 years if he turns out ok )
I reckon spencer is ahead of rodda for sure.
