We need sons Nick, NOW!
This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Last season Riewoldt had fluid drained from the knee every week, starting from the Round 5 match against Sydney in New Zealand.
“It varies, they drain anywhere from 40 up to 100 mils. But it’s easy. On the way home from training I’ll swing off the freeway and head to Olympic Park Medical Centre, where Paul Marks drains it for me. I’m in and out in 15 minutes.
“If you didn’t like the sight of needles you’d struggle with it, but it’s just become part of what I need to do to play.”
He also sees chiropractor Azim Hosseini three times a week. ‘It’s a bit of a tune up — whole body stuff — and it’s just become part of my routine over the past 10 years. Manipulation, soft-tissue work, just making sure my joints are nice and loose.’’

Re: Nick's Moving on..
But yeah, his knee is fine....
Been told so, by know alls on SS.....
How he plays at the level he does with a rooted body (and it is stuffed) is remarkable. Makes him even greater IMO
In 2011 he was in real trouble .... Battling three opponents and getting smashed at CHF every week will do that! He was not 100% ....
He now manages his knee better
As I've stated, he barely trains, his whole week is rehabilitation .... Getting his body right
He often trains separate from the group .... Unless it is specific fwd game plan stuff... He spends a lot of time in the rooms, no doubt doing cross training.
Nick is a champion at present
Will be a legend .... Without a shadow of a doubt

You are amazing. better than that even. Show anyone here one post where people said his knee was fine. Again a lie from you. What we can certainly show people is a person on here who said after one game in 2012 that Roo moves like a super rules player and even better he said it from TV where you cant see leads and double leads and basically anything off the ball. And as you stated he hardly trains. Crap. he trains as hard as most players. How do you even know this? You dont but sounding like you do makes you feel important. Really strange post by you.

Re: Nick's Moving on..
How does the average poster on here know when they are reading fact, fiction or the posts of egomaniacs, very blurred.
I think i'll treat it all as crap, i won't be too far off the mark...
I think i'll treat it all as crap, i won't be too far off the mark...
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
Re: Nick's Moving on..
You're just as amazing
Knowing whether or not I ever attend games?
And thinking two things
1 I've never attended training,
2 I've never had a long conversation with a former employee at StK (who was actually going to boot me from there until we started chatting) he told me straight out that Roo has learned to manage his knee, and does little skill training, only participates in relevant drills
P66
Did I EVER mention he doesn't train hard?! You're the one who makes things up pal, and takes creative license with replies to what is written... Maybe you should read carefully... The word was separate!
I watched him do about 20 repeat 250 m sprints one day...
If you don't think he has a modified program, you don't get to Seaford much
It's funny how you can tell me I can't deduce anything from a game unless I attend, but you know how someone trains even though you don't?
Here's the thing P66
You try to catch me out by exaggerating and continually repeating your spin on my posts out of context... Like this one for example... To somehow help other weak arguments
From the horses mouth twice this month... His knee is shot, and he's learned to manage it....
Are you calling him a liar
The MOVES like a superules player comment... The one you bang on about
In reference to his inability to Bend one night and pick up the ball at any stage, and getting up slowing after most contests... He was done that night.. I've played with and against guys even recently who move better than he did that night ... Adam Yze for instance.. But plenty of 35 yo guys move pretty well, in fact Roo himself is 32 and battered and has carried a knee for 15 years.
You'll twist that, so I'll expand... Clearly none have the motor, the ability or the straight line speed of a Nick a Riewoldt....
But some have a body that is far less damaged. And fair enough, none have played CHF in the AFL for 14 years!!!

I have never heard Rooy say his knee is shot, not once. he has said many times he has learnt to maage it. Again you add just a word here and there to make you sound right. Its only a little word but it works for you. And thanks for telling me about yourself again. Very helpful as was mentioning Adem Yze as I think he spells it. And when didnt I say he wasnt on a modified program? Just show me that comment. You stated he barely trains. Now that is a lie. Completely. I base that on speaking to someone who is with him 6 out of 7 days a week. Hope that is enough proof. he is still one of the hardest trainers and still trains every single day. That is little more than barely trains. Yep you go to training but firstly how often. Doubt it is more than once a fortnight, probably not even that much but what I really doubt is you get in the training rooms but hey come out with the comment he barely trains based on seeing training once ever 14 days at the most.

Re: Nick's Moving on..
If you were a Saints player where would you choose to live, I'd probably pick something around the Mentone area because it is central to all three training sites for the club and now that it seems the club is trying to catch the Bay area market and possible have the Junction oval permanently then living in the middle makes complete sense to me. I'd probably go Beaumaris also.saintbrat wrote:and for all the journos' just a new suburb

Perhaps Warwick can compare Nick's career to his own StKilda career.
