I'm not watching but they got a beauty in Sam Mayes, he was interviewed 3 times by us if I remember correctly. I imagine we will hope to poach him later as we never had a pick high enough.

In all seriousness they showed a bit of improvement tonight. Just made a few too many errors. They tried to play an exciting brand of frantic footy but weren't quite up to it. They will probably win a game sooner or later.

I think the afl did us a bit of a favour by lining us up against the lions in NZ.
Not saying we are certainties - but we have a very good shot at winning.

I believe it is a very unhappy club up there, still a lot of bad feeling over how Voss was dumped just as he was actually becoming a good coach and starting to get results, but was thrown away when they thought they could Roos.
Reckon that decision has put them back a couple of seasons.

I've seen all their games. They were very competitive in the first two games against Dawks and Cats. Losing Rich was a massive blow as he had been their best player this year. It's got worse since then. They have a lot of young guys mixed with out of form good players.

But we should beat them in NZ though may be a slog.

Actually hope Brisbane finish lower than Carlton. After all we don't want Carlton getting the number one draft pick.
