In a perfect world, would love a tie. Wouldn't that be fitting :)

It's not a good look when your old players are winning B and F still sadly

Worse still is that had Chips played the whole year he probably would have been up there and as poor as Joey has seemed to be he will probably be in the top 6.

The guys that are usually stepping up to take the awards are in their mid 20s .....we don't have many of those so it's not a surprise.

Yep, unfortunately our top 10 this year would probably have Roo, Lenny, Joey, Dempster, Ray & Gwilt.

Fisher & Gilbert would be in there too if they had of played.

We have a few spoons to come I reckon.

Or you can to positive view and realise that Jack Newnes will most likely be top five. Dunstan and Billings should be top ten, likewise Delaney.

Had Wright, Webster, Templeton, Savage and Hickey had full seasons, they may have pushed for top ten also.

I hope you are right in the future. The one name i really had hope for that you mentioned in that post is Wright but he is losing me quickly. His skills are terrible which isnt what we need out of the backline. He is umbeleivably hard at it but he needs much more than that. Was smashed yesterday, ming you by a very good player.

What's wrong or sad with older players still playing well and polling well in awards. Doesn't necessarily mean that the younger players are crap because they can't knock them off, probably means that the older player was and still is a gun and the club is getting value for money. Fisher still looked good on the weekend, if he is still on the list I reckon he will go ok next year.

I have to agree, P66. Last year, I thought he'd be a gun, but his latest efforts have shown a distinct lack of polish on the disposal side of things. Still, he's hard as a cat's head and there's hopefully a bit of improvement in him.

CM that makes sense if you are a good side. Its bad news when you win 4 games and get smashed in around 10 games.

Understand that Dragit but those things that happened to him shouldnt wreck his skill levels. I would say the club maybe a little bit disappointed with his skill level as well. Im prepared to forgive him being beaten by Betts. Nothing wrong with that but he has a lot of work to do if he is going to be as good as I thought he would last year. You cant have guys in the backline who just kick and hope. Im not going to give up on him at all but you can only call as you see it.

betts is the recruit of the year imo
great pocket player
asking wright to compete with that is a bit rough
betts has been playing for how long and has how much experience??

tough call on him

Re Betts. Great pickup

It seems like a waste though considering the Crows are going nowhere fast though.

walkers been quiet too
couple of injuries

shame they didnt make finals
lol

as much as ive never liked the power
im jumping on
id rather see them get up than freo or sydney tbh

Betts would have to be the best small forward now that Milney has given it away.

The flag race is always top 4 only.

Possies 5 to 8 just produce revenue and ratings for thr first 2 weeks. Filler material.

Breust kicked more goals than either of them, I reckon he's pretty classy.
