Let's give old Ro$$y boy some hell.
I'm sure the reception we give him haunts the old boy and for some reason rubs off on the haze.
TBH though I think they will belt is on Sunday

Works on all three major St. Kilda supporters' rail lines - maybe 22,000 if we're lucky.

Fun fact for you.
Colin Sylvia never played another AFL game after he played against the Saints last year at Etihad.

Re: Guess The Crowd: Saints vs Ro$$y's purple haze
Just getting ready to leave for the match now. We are driving down as the return train gets in too late (with another half-hour's drive added) for my daughter to get out of bed for school without the services of an exorcist!
I fear P66 is closest to the mark at 18,000. I have spoken before of our MIA members - GET TO ETIHAD TODAY AND SUPPORT THE SAINTS!!!!
Of course, we are no longer allowed to boo Ross Lyon. Or can we? If you don't hear from me for a couple of weeks it's because I have been dobbed-in by the Chattering Class to the Thought Police!

I don't boo anyone but why couldn't you boo RL? I don't get this no booing stuff at all. I don't think anyone of note has suggested people don't boo.

I didn't know you played footy. Seriously I hope you are joking because you obviously just get it otherwise.

Re: Guess The Crowd: Saints vs Ro$$y's purple haze
Agree. That's disgraceful. I know it's a crap slot but it wasn't sleeting or even raining and not that cold. The free entry for kids in Sunday has made zero impact. Roo was playing and Dumpster had his 200th. But I guess he's so low profile no one cares.chook23 wrote:Terrible size crowd.

Also very low key marketing of our game during the week.

Re: Guess The Crowd: Saints vs Ro$$y's purple haze
It seemed like more there today-very vocal crowd.
no trains today didn't help.
the reality is that the way we are going at the moment we are going to really struggle to draw in our next two games. People really need to start supporting.

Next two home games are against the Cats and Swines. They both have at least 5K of fans who will turn up pushing our crowds into the low to perhaps 25K mark.samuraisaint wrote:It seemed like more there today-very vocal crowd.

It sounded like they had the same amount of support there as us.samuraisaint wrote:It seemed like more there today-very vocal crowd.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Of greater concern, just over 6,300 Stkilda Members came through the gate. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!!!!!!!!

Just as I said in my earlier post, we don't vote with our feet. To many armchair experts and armchair critics on this site come up with any old excuse to avoid going to our home games. Sorry, but simply not good enough.

I'd prefer that to 12K members from a 16K crowd.Trev from the Bush wrote:Agree. And I don't fall for the "terrible timeslot" crap.chook23 wrote:Terrible size crowd.
