and Jack N
St Kilda’s Jack Newnes will face MRP heat after catching Western Bulldogs half forward Luke Dahlhaus high off the ball.

Dogs coach Luke Beveridge was noncommittal when asked about the hit, with the livewire Dog left shaken by the incident.

Pretty sure Steven Baker got 10 weeks for an incident with Jeff Farmer with no video evidence

Fox had vision. Replayed it a couple of times. All commentators said it would be looked at, but felt Newnes had nothing to worry about. The main thing it was behind play/ off the ball that was the concern & Dalhouse was dazed by the contact. Their opinion was that Newnes just stood his ground and blocked him. Dalhouse wasn't looking and ran into Newnes.

From the vision I saw , Newnes did appear to turn into the unsuspecting Dalhouse - don't think I'm as confident as the commentators. May get off with a fine. What is Newnes record? He plays it on the edge at times - takes no prisoners!

Should be a fine at most -don't think he has ever been charged by MRP.
Didn't see the Bruce tackle -did anyone see it?

Playing Collingwood so will most likely go. Clearly nothing in it but being StKilda they will find a way.

Phew. Newnes gets a $1000 fine if he accepts early guilty plea.
Thankfully he's available for Collingwood game
