Loss minimisation, or lack of it, has really come back to bite us!
I wouldn't mind having the Adelaide and West Coast games again.
We coughed up 191 points in those two games.
We have to learn to limit the damage when we are outclassed.
Had we hung tough and kept those losses to 40 points each then we would only need a 130 point win today.
There were also three other bad losses to Bulldogs, GWS and Sydney where if we had hung in there and reduced the losing margin by 20 points then we would only need a 70 point win today.
Of course an extra win, or the absence of some disgraceful umpiring decisions in the Haw and North games would have helped as well.
