Hope depressing listening to the Monday night Footy shows, Saints need to start looking for ways to win games. This week we need to try and nullify the Demons ruck strength, Gawn is a fantastic player, we need to keep constant pressure on him. Having Marshall and Hickey in the same team sharing ruck duties will enable us to have a good ruckman playing against there 2nd ruck, it also allows Acres to focus on his game. Marshall can also cause some issues playing forward. Richo is such a worry, he needs to change things up, we are so predictable and he is easy to coach against, just mix it up a bit, give the players a mission and purpose. We have to start attacking and winning games, Richo said on 360 last night that our Process is right its just that our execution is not allowing the process to work. Interesting stat shown last night regarding yards gained through handball, Richmond were at 500+ the next best was Collingwood 300+, Saints were 2nd last, we are a kicking Team and way last were the Hawks at -57, the issue is the Hawks can kick and have a good system, Saints are playing a kicking game and have terrible kicks in the Team and no system going forward.
Maybe our players aren't capable of executing the process he wants but can play a different style of game, he is the Coach and he needs to find this out. Crappy time to be a Saints supporter, I want the coaches to get there act together, way too many coaching and selection mistakes in the first 6 rounds.
