For Turnbull to lead us he'd need to be able to handle factional infighting, people stabbing you in the back, disenchanted members, frequent leadership votes, aggressive opposition, poor performance and under achievements, the media being completely hostile, backroom deals, budget deficits, a lack of qualified candidates to pass the top job onto in years to come, a history of poor recruiting…… makes the job of staying the PM seem easy.

Sounds like leading the Liberal Party is the perfect preparation!

Caused this life long Liberal voter to abandon the party.
He would provide me with an excellent excuse to go barrack for another club.

Don't you mean Showbags Shorten, Ace...? Technically, he's the current leader of Australia's 'liberal' party.
