Re: Dunstan digs deep.
Well, he should be. Armo too if I was a selector. We need blokes who have a real dip and can get the ball.
We have a few too many passengers at the moment.

Re: Dunstan digs deep.
Couldn't play both Armo and Dunstan as would be the slowest mid field in history. Dunstan deserves another chance as has worked his way back into form .
I was surprised they kept Armo on the list however if his form warrants he should play however in the same way White and Hind have had to wait only when his position is up for change (inside mid will run all day just not fast)

They could actually play Armo in the back half. They did last year.older saint wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2019 7:31pm Couldn't play both Armo and Dunstan as would be the slowest mid field in history. Dunstan deserves another chance as has worked his way back into form .

Or in the front half to scrap and bite to keep the ball in that zone for longer.( not Billy)

Armo might not be quick, but his huge amount of experience means he would be able to marshall the backline,
he knows what spots to run to for intercepting, which players to get guys to pick up,
when our guys get the ball, make them do that switch over the other side at the correct times,
settle them and be like a full-time runner.
He would get at least 20-25 possies, and not being in the centre sauna, he would have time to lower the bloody eyes
and place the ball to advantage.

Is his ball use good enough for half back?saynta wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2019 7:33pmThey could actually play Armo in the back half. Pressure forward perhaps again speed a concern . Kent probably has that role at the moment and better overhead . But again form inconsistent so possible option

He normally gets less than 10 possies.
FFS, I reckon Armo would do much better

Re: Dunstan digs deep.
Few losses and people quickly forget just how poor Armo and Dunstan have been in the seniors. Not to mention how slow they are.

Re: Dunstan digs deep.
As in you can’t bring in both... ideally I would bring in neither to be honest but if he’s dominating VFL bring him in and then balance it out with speed to burn with HindJacks Back wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2019 10:45pmmightysainters wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2019 9:04pm We can’t play Dunstan and Armo cmon everyone.. the game is about pace, skill and spread these days...
