If he does not want to be here - let him go - get something decent for him, use it as a bargaining tool to get someone quick with elite disposal skills. He is quick but he is not quick enough to hold a club to ransom.
I love Jackie Boy - but I love the Saints more!

If you have a Bee in your Bonnet - I can assist you with that - but it WILL involve some smacking upside the head!
Lucky Gold Coast are decent this year and Chris Mew and co. have a positive (external vibe), I don’t want a sinking ship rat run ala Ablett and co. triggered by Stevo leaving.
What has Stevo got for Geelong...he has grown out the hair. Does he see a Dangerfield coast chill surfer-be-footballer dream? Surely the Nepean Highway and industrial environs in the back blocks of Moorabbin are superior to anything the Great Ocean Road has to offer.
If the rumours are right he asked for a trade last year after his hiccup with Richo during the end of year feedback session. The club refused his request and in hindsight with last years super draft they probably should have done the deal. It seems his health has detoriated since so once again we can expect to get screwed because we now have to trade him. Cant blame the club for wanting to hang onto their best midfielder, but it would be nice if things would go our way occasionally.
Gees Xavier Duursma super quick midfielder would have been nice with Geelong 1st round pick last year.

If he does not wish to be at St.Kilda let him go yes quick but disposal does let him down at times.
He is 30 and lets see what we can get for him now. If Geelong wants him they must be prepared to give a quality player in return.
Great player and club servant. Let him go if that is what he wants.
Seems strange that he would not want to lead, has little input at meetings, hates public speaking but makes a stand against the coach, citing mental health issues as the problem, and then engross himself in a trade deal that would place him in the public spotlight and under immense scrutiny and media speculation. If he asked for a trade last year it would have escalated way beyond rumour.
It will be interesting watching this RUMOUR play out.
