Very smart footballer. His impact on games is becoming Milney like. Long way to go there, I know, but he has that x-factor of kicking quick goals. Wrapped that he's making the most of his opportunities.

i feel vindicated for sticking by him all these years - just had far more endeavour than most of the guys through the lean years. glad to see he kept it whilst developing as a player.

One player that was developed very well.

Earned his opportunities the hard way and was sent back to the 2s when form warranted and forced his way back.

Absolutely no shame in being dropped... reckon some other players would have benefited from it over the years

Endeavour, too many have got used to playing on cruise control and still gifted games.

From the outside Rice appears to have his papers stamped, we have had 15 or 16 injuries and he has been named emergency only once or twice to my recollection. I agree he is a natural 80's style footballer, but I can't see where he'd fit in the modern game.

White is an odd one, must be doing something really wrong internally not to be given more chances at senior level.

Yep, I've been on the boy for a while as well, very pleased to see the young man get reward for effort.
He seemed to struggle last week first game back but was fantastic yesterday.

He has a real crack, is energetic and up and about, great enthusiasm.

There was a time yesterday when he tackled Caleb Daniels and for a moment I thought it was half time watching the little league.

Played for his life at the end of last year, without a contract, and hasn't looked back.

Lonie has become a good footballer.

He is still only around 22 I'm guessing so he will get better. That is frightening.

I'm another who has to eat humble pie.

I never thought he would reach AFL standard and boy, was I wrong.

He is definitely our X factor now. We were up and firing until he went down injured against the Crows when that game turned right around.

We haven't really shown anything since until first quarter against the Doggies when he inspired the team to a great win.

It is not just confidence.

He has changed how he plays and has learnt how to tackle well.

He has really worked hard on his tackling. He used to bounce off opponents when he ran into them. Now he can really shift his weight and be effective.

I always thought he was going to a highly talented player that was 5cms too short and 5kgs too light.

He has really impressed me with how he has developed.

A massive loss, take him and Jake Carlisle out of the side yesterday and things might have been different. A switch flicked against Geelong.

Always been extremely talented and has the ability to make something out of nothing. He is also extremely courageous, always has been. He gets a lot of free kicks by getting on the move around stoppages and drawing contact.

He was an outstanding junior, and was Vic Country MVP at the champs

Showed a lot in his first year

The ensuing years he played a fair bit of VFL and generally dominated, playing midfield. He is too good at that level.

If his confidence is up, he is very dangerous i50

The best thing to come out of Seaford, besides the St Kilda Football Club (eventually)!

RIP Belvedere.
