Delisted by Hawks. One of those 'almost' players. His body couldn't handle the rigours of the top level game. Pity. I really liked him as a player. Just shows how brutal AFL is. Wonder if he'll end up at Sandy in 2020?

Geez did alright for himself. Didn’t realise he was still on a list.

It’s a shame. I liked him too. Wish he played more earlier on.

In the handful of senior games, he seemed to show something.
I was thinking 'more please', hoping he could increase that sort of output over the entire game

Fine VFL player, never rated him at AFL level.

Cut it up in the midfield at VFL level.

Reminds me of Parker so far. Bursts. Did he even get a game at the Hawks?

Not in the seniors. I think he was injured much of his time there and only played 8 VFL games.

So was Alistair Clarkson wrong in not giving him more of a go?

Hawks website says he was named as emergency for Rd 18 against Cats,
but then injured hammy in VFL vs Coburg Tigers.

Avg 10.5 disposals in VFL.
That's not 'cutting it up' :-P

He was injured the majority of his season there and they cut their losses

Seems like history is repeating itself in more ways than one these days
