Credit where credit is due - it looks like he has adapted to "Saints Footy" now. Similar to Farren where his toughness at the ball was questioned. I think he took a big step forward last night. Like others have said, I think he needs to keep working on his kicking though. That can be the n...

Jimmy has always been an excellent long penetrating kick but now it looks like he has finally got the confidence to use his strength and just run through opposition players as well. He has really matured in his decison making and his ball handling in the conditions was great. I heard one of the play...

If we get within 6 goals of them I will be satisfied. The rain should help??? I am going to be watching to see if they play Stanley on Scarlett because Scarlo has always run off Gehrig and Kosi in the past and I hope Stanley runs him down to deny their run out of the backline. I'll hope for the best...

I'd just like to see him get a run at some stage, along with Lynch and Heyne as we still crying out for the "3rd" forward (medium to tall) who can take marks (as another option) when Roo/Kosi have defenders hanging off them, can kick goals and apply forward pressure. Let these guys experie...

I was hoping there'd be some kind of statement put out by the club by now with comments provided by the Surgeon so we could reduce the speculation. Only the surgeon would have the actual "inside" knowledge of the damage he saw and how well the repair went. The rest of us (including the jou...

Based on circumstances today I think that Stanley is the first option. As others have said let's not expect too much from him in his first game, especially since he is going to get their best defender. I had hoped that he and Lynch and Heyne would all get tried out on a flank while both Roo & Ko...

This kid works hard to improve himeself and we see the results in front of us. Last year he showed he had some ability and this year he is now "arriving" in a bigger stronger body that may allow him to get thropugh a whole season. I expect he'll be even better next year with more condition...

It will be interesting some day in the future to play Stanley on Scarlett as Scarlett will have trouble marking over him and he will NOT be able to run off him as he has done to Gehrig and Kosi in the past. He would be well & truly tackled. Jusy a thought to savour? I still just want to see Stan...

I'm enjoying back & forth and I appreciate the points that many are making here. Stanley was recruited as a "Ruckman" but now many are saying he is a KPP. I think this wiill all evolve with time. He might be either - we don't know yet. We should all bear in mind that almost all KPP's s...

bigcarl - I'm with you on this and I think that many are saying that this kid is worth watching to see how far he can go. Earlier in the thread someone said you don't need tall flankers. I don't agree, but I do agree you don't want two tall flankers as that typically throws out the balance of being ...

I just got it today and watched it a couple of hours ago and I did see Luke a few times. My observation would be that they didn't seem to cover him up or bring him to any partivcular prominance. Their handling seemed "neutral" to me.

AND.... he CAN kick goals, unlike Luke Ball!

This was Luke worst deficiency for me when he couldn't kick the ball over a defenders head when he was 30 metres out.

Armo has the opportunity to be a better all-around player, instead of JUST an in-and -under player.

Good Luck in 2010 ARMO!

Doesn't the fact that we made it to the GF, instead of just a PF count for anything? How much did Geelong beat us by in the Final in 2008 vs. 2009? Aren't these both examples of an improvement in finals form? There's 14 other teams that would have liked to have played as well as we did in 2009. If y...

He sounds athletic and doesn't take a backward step so he should be good defensively but let's all wait and see if he has the gaol kicking acuracy required with the sherrin! I'm hoping so as he looks alike he could be a very valuable inclusion if he could fill that tall 3rd forward role for us. This...

Totally agree with you bigcarl: - They must now focus on improving the offense in 2010 as much as they did the defence in 2009. Remember, we only kicked two goals in the whole 2nd half of the GF. You don't win them with that result! We badly need that 3rd "meduim" forward on the HFF to tak...
