I'd never seen him play and feared that people may have been overestimating him but I was very impressed with his game tonight.

At least three great contested marks including one that wasn't paid because the runner was in the way.

And not afraid to present as a short option.

Great second efforts too, wasn't afraid to chase, tackle, put his head over it. Not bad for a guy that size, very encouraging to watch!

Stanley looked the goods, anybody that young and has the ability to take those contested marks deserves a position in Reincarnated's firm deep in the Melbourne city. Reincarnated will contact the club early Monday morning to get him to work with Reincarnated in becoming perfect like Reincarnated

It will take time however to become like Reincarnated is difficult

Reincarnated is better than all, apart from Stanley

Need Gardiner to teach him a scary face though.

Could he be the third tall in the forward line for the time being? He took a few nice grabs tonight.

If he was and we were getting a good run out of the middle, then other teams woud find it almost impossible to handle Roo, Kosi, Big Mac/Stanley as forward marking options.

Liked his game, good hands, and a good thinker. The mark and then dish off to Milne was quality and a really good sign.

Could be handy as the third forward, his speed helps keep that defensive pressure on too!

I have beena big fan since watching his first Sandi game....but even so he exceeded my expectations tonight.

He just "looks" an AFL player...and one could see him gettinga few games this year based on tonight.

He looks a bit bigger and stronger since the last time I watched him play...

He looked keen to chase defensively also and wasn't lost for pace....

Lets see how he goes next week. I am glad we can go watch and the boys don't have to goto Alice Springs

was the big impresser for mine. Is playing himself into the round 1 team by the looks of it. Played CHF in the final quarter and gave us someone else to kick to!

8/10!

He also caused a real mis-match by the Pies. With his pace and run they could not match up on him properly.

:( Fun police.

True though, beware NAB Cup form...I remember Charlie Gardiner kicking 3 in R1 NAB Cup a couple years back. Plus, it's Collingwood, probably a good side for the kids to have a run at when you take match-ups into account.

Never said he would.

Though I did say tonight in another thread that he may now get a few senior games this year...which prior to tonight I was not really expecting.
