Plugger would have kicked 90% of his goals on a lead. Loewe took pack marks but it wasnt pluggers biggest strength. Lloyd, Fev, Dunstall, Beasley they go on and on. None great pack marks but great on a lead. If Kosi isnt mobile enough for CHF he wont be mobile enough at FF. i saw most of pluggers g...

Strong overhead but doesnt take pack marks but FF do not need to do that lockett didn't take pack marks? gimme a break. it's the difference between being able to cope with the flood or not imo. sure roo would make a gun full-forward. so would kosi. would kosi make a great chf? probably not. not mob...

didn't reiwoldt kick a bag a few years ago at FF? I can't imagine with the new rules any FB getting close enough to him to push him in the back with his speed... i'm sure riewoldt could play there successfully, but imo he's too valuable doing what he's doing. also why would we use a bloke with his ...

forward line i'd like to see hf: goddard, riewoldt, gilbert f: milne, kosi, ball kosi must play ff imo. as evertonfc said in another post kosi is a handy ruckman but potentially a superstar full-forward. one of the few blokes in the league who can consistently take big pack marks ... an ability i re...

Re: Who are we prepared to trade?
Matt Maguire: would be worth a bit. "would be worth a bit" because he is a bloody good player. people forget just how good. even though we didn't see the best of him this season it is worth noting that with goose back in the team in the second part of the season we lost only three matches...

I know he hasn't got the body of a full forward yet, but Sam Gilbert is tall, fast and accurate. It would only take for him to make a good lead which wouldn't be too hard considering his pace....thoughts anyone?? yeah. he's the type of player who can play virtually anywhere. tall quick and strong. ...

What about Goose for Fev? no. goose is better than what his performances since his comeback from a broken leg suggest. it's a trade that would come back to haunt us imo anyhow, kosi is potentially a better full-forward than fev. more explosive and doesn't rely on pinpoint disposal because of his ab...

exactly. he's potentially a very dangerous match-winner for us there.evertonfc wrote:I believe Justin Koschitzke is actually not showing his full worth to us in the ruck. He's a good ruckman, maybe even just handy, but a potentially brilliant full-forward.
there is no-one better qualified. find another ruckman

has to be kosi. potentially a 100-goal full-forward and one of the few guys in the league who can consistently take big contested marks ... the only certain way i know to beat the flood roo could do it well also. but why would you use a guy with superhuman endurance in the most static position on th...

Brooks is gone. Sorry to all the people who think he is a ruckman but Blake is Polly Farmer compared to Brooks in the ruck. well play blake in the ruck. he's been very effective and him not being there much of this season has cost us bigtime imo. gives us plenty around the ground and i'm also of th...

keep brooks and play him second ruck in the seniors. with fraser retiring (way too prematurely in my opinion) kosi must play full-forward permanently. this opens a spot for brooks and, hopefully, gardiner will come up. there's always blake, who is a very capable ruckman, rix, who is a depth player a...

only yesterday i posted how we should start grooming kosi as full-forward and move fraser out to half-forward or forward pocket. wish i hadn't said it now (not that it would have been a factor, of course). i genuinely believe he still had a couple of good years left in him and the club should make s...

were were constantly told that gt couldn't coach a pig to be dirty, anyone could coach this list to the finals, he wasn't the man to take us forward etc, etc, etc. This is what I don't get. People believing what they are told. Everyone's excuse for getting stuck into the board/coach about going bac...

I expected a hell of a lot more. were were constantly told that gt couldn't coach a pig to be dirty, anyone could coach this list to the finals, he wasn't the man to take us forward etc, etc, etc. it's way too late now but i have fond memories of the gt era ... they were exciting times and september...
