Alway next year!!! :D If one more person says that to me in comiserating for Saturday, I will slap them. i didn't say in comiseration lol, i meant it as a slogan!! I know that  I know you were suggesting it as a slogan. Good one too. I'm just commenting that I'm sick of people saying it to me...

Agree, but you will note that I did restrain myself from the obvious and say "lost"

Lost property- a long shot.

As if the result on Saturday wasn't bad enough, just to make his day my brother in law lost his wallet at the GF on saturday. It may have been in the ground itself (we were in Q55) but could have lost it anywhere, or maybe in the carpark. I know its a long shot, but I said I'd check here in case any...

One of our staff went home sick today so we were one down. When my boss came in and started singing the collingwood theme song I just looked her in the eye and said, "Do you want to be another staff member short today?". Thankfully she let it go. One of the juniors came in gloating and tel...

aagh.
My boss is a collingwood supporter. I don't think she'll be too bad. She's actually very considerate of people's feelings and she'll know I'm hurting.
Its the customers I'm not looking forward to. Bound to be some that will be wearing the colours and enjoying their moment.

But the question is: are Ross and the Saints a part of Armo's plans going forward?
Might be too little, too late.

Great to meet Saintdebi and the family though, a shining light on a dark day... :D Thanks Iceman. Have to say it was a mutual pleasure. Just a pity it all ended the wrong way. We're all shattered, but as ever suffering Sainters we know we will drag ourselves back up and claw our way back again. Whe...

Said I wouldn't post anymore for awhile, but felt compelled to comment on this thread. It's all about balance, my boys (hubby and son) are my world, nothing rates higher. Footy can also be a very special bond you share with loved ones, Dad and I have done so for years. I hope it's one I share with ...

All you interstate Saints deserver a MASSIVE round of applause for the effort and the financial commitment that you put in. It's expensive enough just being a member of a club these days, let alone travel and accommodation on top of that. Absolutely AMAZING effort to back it up 2 weeks running!!! H...

This sort of perspective probably deserves a new thread. Maybe help some of us realise that life is about more than just football.

He was mentioned in another thread. So he didn't make it? That's incredibly sad. While we lament the loss of a game, a circle of family and friends will be mourning the loss of a loved one. Lets all deal with our disappointment in whatever ways we need to, but when all is said and done, let us remem...

If today's effort costs him a chance to play in another GF there should be quite a few boys worried about their chances too. He wasn't Robinson Caruso today.

Can't be there.
Hubby was lucky to get today off, tomorrow's out of the question.
Plus that damn bike race will make a trip down the highway in the morning a nightmare.
But for the record I love the boys, I love the team, and I love that we can go again next year.
Go Saints.

I thought the most noticeable difference was that we had a red strip on our jumpers, but sadly it appeared that too often our boys didn't seem to notice that when they were kicking today. :(
