Re: Blatant cheats.
Thought the umpires were pretty good tonight. Prob missed 3 for us and 2 against. I'll take that.
The Webster in the back non decision would be angering the Carlton supporters. Take the good with the bad tonight.

Even Watters called him 'Stevens'.
Jack STEVEN.
Love his work. Few good young ones running around now.

Re: Demonland
If ever a team needed a discretionery priority pick, it's Melbourne, right now ... and yet because everyone knows they tanked the AFL will be pillared if they give them one. Not sure I feel sorry for them - they stuck with Bailey while he had the audacity to grind their club into the ground in purs...

Re: Trading players like dal
Already lost BJ. Milne, Lenny, Blake, Kosi will, most likely, be gone too.
So in 2 years, we will need Dal/Joey/Fisher.
(Wont comment on the champ, looking as good as ever when I had believed he was on the decline.)

Melbourne... They could have/should have kept green, Bruce, McDonald etc around longer.
Open to the idea but needs to be a balance.

I respect him, and greatful for his time as a Saint. Reading the posts about their efforts in GF.1 brings back painful memories.
But he plays for Essendon now, so I will boo the s*** out of him, hope he has a tough night and we go 2-2.

Re: Flag tilt 5 years away?
We can turn it around quicker ! At seasons end we should have plenty of room in our salary cap to attract some decent trades and a low ladder position will enable us to pick up some talented kids in the draft . As the year wears on Watters will introduce more of the younger talent , so by 2015 we c...

Re: Dal do we under rate him?
Definitely underrated. Needs to hit the score board more though.
Agree that another year under watters game plan might suit him and make him just as valuable going forward as he gets older and smarter.

I think both are pushing for a place in the 22 atm.
Gilbert as a wing/mid that can have a spell forward or back, Roberton as a HBF.

Has definitely done some good things for the game. Made some mistakes also. We all do, hopefully he is learning from them. I believe his pay packet has been a little high though. Has got some large pay rises, percentage wise. Maybe a bit of jealousy on my part though, and I suspect a few others. Ups...

Stanley is looking like a monster, I hope his hamstrings can carry it all… Might be a dumb question but… is it a worry that Blake & McEvoy are our fastest over 2KM? Shouldn't it be some of our mids? Nah, good thing. Big guys will have to run all game. If there are further changers to the interc...

I don't believe it.
But yes, if Watts was on the table I would jump at the chance. Especially for a 2nd round pick.

Was it Curren or Crocker that is the local kid who was training the house down BEFORE pre-season last year?
I'll assume it was Curren as he is still on the list.

Re: How good are Armo and Steven actually?
Steven: can see him becoming a Dane Swan type. Runs all day, get clearances, not super damaging by foot. Possible top 20 mid. Armo: seems to be a great club man (think Baker, Milne). Think Jack will be better, less chance Armo becomes a top 20 mid IMO. But he has his role and will continue to remain...

Well when i started to read the OP, i was thinking Watts is a GOP at worst and BJ+ type ceiling. Interesting to see other mentioning BJ too.
Take Watts for sure, for the above reason. Lee an unknown, but don't think that I'm not excited about him.
