Another thing he said was that Laidley is very good at "building a team" and getting a good feel within the group. Said that this was an under-rated skill of Laidleys. Once again he was asked about the bubble, and said that we would be part of the bigger football community, and that this m...

Ross has gone.

Time now to focus on the positives - and for the first time in what seems ages - there are many positives, new players, new coaches, new academy, favourable press etc.

The king is dead. Long live King Watters.

I think the sub should have pace, which they can use to advantage as others are getting tired. Milney is not quick enough to be the sub. I'd rather have him on the ground for the whole game, as he's always dangerous. Also, as Milney is doing a coaching course, I think he'll retire when his form drop...

I reckon Myles Bolger will be our first pick if he's still available. "Myles Bolger, one of the best ruckmen in this year's draft, recovered from a foot injury which sidelined him for almost two years. The ruckman, who was part of the AFL Academy in 2010, could be targeted by Greater Western S...

I would have a look at Marley Williams with one of our earlier picks. Marley Williams (WA – Mid/Fwd) Height: 181cm, Weight: 85kg, DOB: 22/07/1993 Recruited from: Claremont Football Club . Apparently has speed, a big kick, and at 85kg is big enough to start. Marley Williams Footage, he's number 10...

I agree. Elshaugh has had 2 picks already, Saad & Milera, & they both seem to be a new direction, i.e. fast, skilled, ready to play.

Fantastic news I am starting to feel very confident about the future.wonder if Ross smith would make a good director of the academy.
