Best list I can remember

Maximum respect for John Beveridge. He left us with a nice list and we have topped it up well. The current list is the best I can remember - I am in my thirties, some might argue for the teams of the 50s and 60 were better but we have real depth now IMO. St kilda has always had it's stars but if a f...

I have a mate from WA who follows the dockers and he says that Peake is either brilliant or non existent. Compared him with Heath Black- heaps of potential to become a star, but a bit all over the place. He has been at the Dockers for a long time where the structures seem very loose and as such he h...

Jones gets bagged for his kicking since early on Cometti said he couldn't kick straight on the telecast -( probably from his WAFL games) since then everyone has got on to it and perpetuated it. He can kick badly under pressure but who doesn't . At least he is usually in there having a go. I believe ...

Kosi looked slow and didn't chase, Stanley comes in and grabs anything that goes near him. Tackles with hammil like ferocity, I was nearly ready to write off Kosi on the small amount of game time we saw, but in the cold light of day I still think stanley is a year off a real contribution to the team...

Rhys Stanley looks a good player for the future but I would be surprised if he played any senior games this year. My 5 year old dumped Riewold as his favorite player after seeing how tall Rhys was. So we watched him at sandy. He looks like he could be a future star but a fair way off still. He is a ...

Leigh looked really composed when he actually got on the ground and looks a good chance to play if anything goes wrong injury wise. Last year he was mentioned in the players that where tearing up the track in the preseason. Hope he is'nt needed but he is handy back up. Shame he isn't an in and under...

Lay off Ball

I for one felt sorry for Luke last night. He will be hard pressed to find a spot at Collingwood. He still looks under Dick or Cox and Goldsack looks like he's going to hold Luke's position. I think all Saints fans should stop being so hard on him.

Hope it isn't an omen.

The club looses a grand final only to have one of their key players walk out because he over rates his own worth. (J. Shannahan and J Smith for that matter.) I hope Ross knows what he's doing because I can't do 98 again. Loosing guys like Ball Maguire and X clarke might be destablising the list. We ...

I am just glad I don't have to hear about poor Luke and his loyal service crap anymore. There is no free agency and even if there was his loyal service forgets that we were waiting along time for his injuries to heal so we could see what he was capable of. He was right to go this year finally and I ...

I can see why Ball wanted to go to Collingwood though.

He fits in with Malthouses plan of total world domination through guys with surnames that sound like genitals. Why do you think he would not entertain loosing Goldsack for Ball?

Is it just me or is the guy obsessed?

I heard Francis' rant and was proud of him standing up for raph. The guy was an idiot and he won't be ringing again. I have re-watched the GF and Raph was far from our least productive player. Caro is still shitty she had carlton as premiers and Richmond top 4 (saints taking last spot in the 8 from memory) before the season started. saints would at least provide a stable group of mature professional players to keep Fev in line. Still the worst decision was the goal umpire not noticing the ball change direction off the post. He is paid to watch the ball travel through a small area and totally stuffed it. Russell Robertson

Does anyone rate R Robertson? He would come at minimum wage and fit our mid size forward role. He did have the archilles injury but was taking big grabs late in the season.

The Saints mids would spot him up a bit better than the dees. And he can mark overhead and kick goals on the run.

I would take Russell Robertson over fev anyday he would be on minimum wage, fits the mid size forward role if he doesnt fire he cost us nothing.

At his best and with good delivery RR would be a better fit.

Nathan Brown is another I have heard we should grab that has done nothing since injury.
