However, Dempster would be next in line.

Never rule out the chance of Goodes finishing his season from being "Dempstered" 8-)
Why not Goddard, it then makes Goodes accountable, which he doesn't like.

Who goes to Goodes?

As imo Goodes stands between us winning or losing, would we not run Goddard with him all night. Or from left field Nick Riewoldt?

Surely if your good enough to be a game breaker, you're probably going to start in the 21. I believe you need a versatile footballer rather than a one position player. Can't see Didak helping C'Wood if Jolly went down.

Re: A new forward target

Most on here seem to agree that we do need another goal kicking option to real start hurting teams on the scoreboard. Last year we drafted Ryan Gamble with pick 90. I think he has turned out to be a pretty good kick up, but he is not the type of player that can play out of the goal square and kick ...

Riewoldt has definitely been a star but I have been disappointed with him this year. He isnt helped by poor kicking to him sometimes but the margin of accuracy players have to kick to him has decreased from what it used to be. Last nights game was a reflection of most of his games for the year (exc...

We can get to a prelim and ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN THEN!! After the Cats, we are the most hardened finals team. Fighting our way through in elimination games is our forte. No team in AFL/VFL history, starved of success like us, has had to face the heartbreak and off-field rubbish of the last 2 seasons....

Commentator bias

Watched last nights match on tv. Why do the callers always seem to want our opposition to win! In the past i thought it was because we were the top team, and they wanted the under dogs to get up. Last night W.Coast were 4th and we were 11th, but all of them were willing on W. Coast. Wish they would ...

It annoys me that he is referred to as a St.Kilda player when he didn't even pull on a saints sock on for us.

Yeah... ummm... Slightly different player to Big Carl, mate. I compared him to Len Thompson, but got pooh-poohed for that call. Not sure about captain at this stage, but I guess a couple of more seasons down the track and we may have a fair indication of what the future holds for him. I'm assuming ...
