Re: Scott Watters sacked: Official SS reaction thread
I was shocked and dissappointed when I first heard this news. Watters never really got the chance to prove whether he could coach or not. Things were obviously deliberately kept quiet so as not to effect trade period. I expect now plans have been put in place for a speedy resolution, with a new coac...

Re: Billy Longer
Now that we're getting him I can now be bothered to read what has been said about him. From The Age, the 2011 draft report: 8 BILLY LONGER (Northern Knights, 18, 201cm, 98kg) The most highly rated ruckman all year. Mobile, athletic and fast. Super smart, especially at stoppages. Comes with an off-th...

Re: McEvoy to Hawthorn
It's believed Carlton is willing to part with the pick No.28 that it got from Richmond in the Shaun Hampson deal in order to get Savage. If thats what savage is worth then I like the trade but sad to see Mac go Heard Macca's management on radio say he wanted to be a one club player but once he got ...

kicked all three shots at goal in the draft test one from each side at 45 degrees 45 out and the same from dead in front got a huge cheer from all the ruck men there apparently can kick a cherry already it seems 8-) Yeah, saw his a bit of his kicking action on the Saints website. Looks promising.

Re: Keep Dal At Saints Campaign
Sorry for my fat fingers...should be KEEP DAL! I, too, want DAL to stay. He's been LOYAL to us over many years. Though he could have left for more money, and possibly had a premiership medal, he's remained, and is still one of our best players each week. I'd like to see St Kilda recognise & rew...

Re: To every one that craps on about Lyon...
What about my other question? Why do rate his intelligence so highly, but as a self confessed career coach, you reckon saints fluffed it and he was a chance to stay? Either he's clever, or he isn't. His win loss record would be hit, and hard. What does this even mean? This seems to have three or fo...

Re: Seb Ross Rising Star
Let's be honest Dermot loves us. I'm pretty sure he also knows Siposs family so he's biased. But good to have someone in our tent. Good stuff. Dermott has and will always hate the Saints. he is a mate of SW. Have no idea where you come up with stuff that he knows Siposs family. Dunno about that. I ...

He was very frustrating in defence, however I think he looks much more comfortable up forward.Jacks Back wrote:The experiment has cost us 4 goals tonight (SO FAR).
Unfortunately I don't think he's up to it on any line on the ground.

[/quote] Agree. We are already nearly 2 years into our rebuild now.. People don't get it. 5 years would be the best possible result, but highly unlikely. We still haven't hit rock bottom yet. Re: Eight years of pain coming ...
Port are a prime example of having half a dozen top ten draft picks and using them well... Not bringing in a Full back that can't get a regular game at another club. We will be getting those top ten draft picks over the next few years. We don't need a superstar fullback to fill the role but someone...

Re: Eight years of pain coming ...
I dont get how that can happen in 2015. GC and GWS have had a huge number of picks and one has gone backwards in its second year and the other is still a year or 2 off finals. They have had many top 10 picks. We have had none and wont till this year and it will only be one top 10 pick. We also lose...

Been keenly watching him for a while, he is very composed when in traffic but often seems to find plenty of space too. Has silky foot skills. His pace whist not at the higher end is still pretty decent. If not a future leader should still be moved to the leadership group. Great game last night again...

Been watching him closely and I am very impressed. He is very composed in contested ball situations and seems to find space even though he isn't particularly fast.
