Re: Filth Move Above Us on the Ladder - WTF?!
As disturbing as it is they may stay there having a slightly better run home with two probable and a couple of possible wins to come. Our run looks like one probable and also a couple of possibles alongside a couple of hidings although in saying this I really hope I am wrong.

Re: Hawks 1st round pick watch
Would not get excited about Hawks first rounder, don't forget we gave them pick 10 and will probably get something between 10-14 back. Present form and the games to come looks like our own pick will be top 5.

Re: We will lose three in a row
SP may have gone a bit early, but after watching the effort against the swans and with the Dogs then Crows to follow he may not be far wrong

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
Hopefully they learnt something from watching the swans, that was certainly all they did. Probably because they didn't have the pace to get near them. Same could happen next week as the dogs will runs us ragged. A lot of posters getting excited about the Hawks first pick ours is likely to be earlier...

Re: Suffocating on our own expectation!
We did expect too much, I quickly revised my expectations to three wins, Gold Coast & Carlton, are yet to come although I am not that sure about Carlton anymore. If anybody can tell me who else we are better than I would like to know.

Re: Pick 1 & pick 3
Possible solution is Paddy to Sandy & Jenny Craig, Billings to Sandy then the trade table. Also Lonnie, Webster and Savage would be better in the blue & gold. Sinclair is a better finisher up forward and White less erratic than Webster or Savage. Long, Battle and an upgraded Marshall are all...

Re: We need to talk about Paddy.
I believe the answer to Zeds question regarding two top 10 picks will be that our recruiters will trade both. After well deserved criticism for picking Billings and Paddy they seem hell bent on avoiding the draft.

Re: Billings
SuperSaints initial post was on the money, Billings is a school boy footballer with no desire for the hard ball, our equivalent to Jack Watts. I remember some time back of a possible trade to the bombers, should have taken it, but I guess they would have found a way to have shafted us again in any t...

Re: Short Memories
We may have been expecting to much this season. The only games I think we will go in favourite are Carlton, Brisbane and Gold Coast, both here, add another one or two turn ups that makes five wins which will give our recruiters another top five pick to squander.

Next Luke Ball
Will a short sighted coach turn Blake Acres into our next Luke Ball, if this talented player is continually overlooked for inferior players he is certain to move on. When will our coaching staff wake up up and give players with a bit of potential some continuity rather than play the likes of Lonie w...

How true we are a pack of plodders with poor skills by foot, it will be a long year, disappointing to have our hopes for the season blown away in round one

Re: Match Thread Saints v Demons Round 1 2017
Could Acres have been any worse than Lonie, in fact could anybody have been worse than Lonie, our kicking will put us behind the 8ball we don't need the selection panel to compound it

If playing in a helmet was good enough for Nathan Burke it should be good enough for Paddy.
Shame he got another knock, probably doesn't know where he is but neither do most of his team mates

Probably finish with top five draft pick, then trade it to the bombers for James Gwilt

Dusty can play a bit so this was always going to be swept under the carpet. Same as the Hawthorn rape investigation. Good players and strong clubs have a different set of rules to fringe players from lower clubs sad but true.

Re: Jack Sinclair still a rookie??
May be a mistake on site as wiki pedi has him on main list of 40 with the maximum 4 category A rookies and 1 category B, (Holmes) leaving space for only 2 more category B rookies.
