Probably a minor positive but today we saw a mediocre stand alone VFL team all we need now is a AFL team.
Maybe the AFL will introduce a relegation system and save us trying to find the AFL team.

Why assume the Dees will get pick 2, for Frawley they would have to finish last and on current form the will have Brisbane, GWS & probably the Saints below them. That results in picks 4 & 5 for Dees, giving the Saints pick 3 which would probably be traded for pick 25 & another Tommy Lee

A lot of post's have included Templeton, I believe both him & Weller are rookies & as such can't play until elevated to the senior list. One rookie can be elevated mid season the second only for a long term injury.

I believe Curren was upgraded for Fisher LTI. Its a bit ironic calling it an upgrade as the Zebs are probably a better side

Thought spectators are meant to be on the outside of the fence. I witnessed a slow, unskilled and uninterested team.

I agree that Curren deserves a go , problem is that he is a rookie and will need to promoted onto the playing list, the same applies to Shenton and Minchington. Dunell was the only promotion as far as I know.

Could not agree more disposal and decision making like this will see us finish in the bottom four.

We certainly dodged a bullet in missing out on Mitch Brown, Staley, Ferguson, Lever and Simpkin will probably all develop into better defenders than Brown. The only reason to recruit him next year would be to satisfy our recruiters desire to pick up a Dud but we probably doubled up on duds this year...

Agree Milera has to be recalled, he does not like the hard ball but is by far the most talented. Saad doesn't do enough and Milney is past his use by date. After watching Sandy I believe the future is not as grim as I thought, with White the shining light but Webster, Lever, Staley, Hickey and Pierc...
