If Rob Harvey wants to be the next coach of St.Kilda, what would be the better path? 1) to stay at the Saints as an assistant, or 2) to go to another successful club, expand his repertoire and reputation, then return as the prodigal son. IMHO option 2 would make him much more likely to eventually c...

Good, glad it's fallen through. Why people would be happy to lose three talls this trade week, just don't get it sometimes. Yes cant understand why people dont rate Zac - thank god he is not off to freo. Now the club just need to sign him up to prevent him getting there via the draft as per luke ba...

Surprised to read so many people eager to see Gram go. Arguably should have been the club's first Norm Smith Medallist and still very handy, particularly in light of Gwilt being out for 2012 with a knee. Kicking skills aren't always great but could be worked on. Fair enough if the club need room in...

I find it hard to understand why so called saints fan love to raph bash. Yes he turns the ball over but at least he gets it in the first place. Raph was having the best season of his career in 2010 when he injured his hamstring against fremantle in round 12. Seemed to be slow coming back from injury...

Would be really upset to see Tommy leave and star at another club having never played a senior game with the saints. He has been among the best down at Sandringham all year and has great potential. Still if we do have salary cap problems then why would we trade a player that is on a relatively low w...

I'll start by saying that I went as a result of winning the SAINTSATIONAL ballot so didn't have to pay the $320. As said above by thunda, it's a premium event at a premium venue. The size of the crowd (900) was comfortable for that venue so I think the event itself should stay as it is. If there is...

$320 x 900 = $288,000 $230 x 1300 (the reported number a couple years ago) = $299,000 Not that hard to do the maths St Kilda. But dont forget that the club have to pay for hire of the rooms and catering so the extra people would incur more costs. Or are you suggesting that they run it as a barbeque...

FYI, I've done many events in my professional career and the cost of each ticket would be between 130 - 150 so they are using it as a profit making venture as they are charging 320 (even allowing for freebie tickets). philip Nothing wrong with the club using the event as a fund raiser. And for your...

Sorry I think the cost of the tickets is justified. A few years ago when tickets sold out the club had a cocktail function in the next door room which was much cheaper and players came in and spoke at that function. However it is not practical for the club to commit to hiring another room if the dem...

Ive got an idea. Lets keep both players if they want to stay. How the hell does pick 60 help us next year or probably ever. could not agree more - dont understand why everyone wants to trade our players - cj has been outstanding all year - sure his kicking is not the best in the league but at least...

Have read this forum for a long time and really dislike the way players are criticised - often with very little justification. Zac is far from our worst problem - he plays his role and does not get beaten very often. His form in the finals last year was outstanding and probably better than 2009 afte...
