Re: The AFL and cheating
Seen plenty of points kicked in my time ,and that was one of them- the Tiger players all looked around like it was a miss when it went through and Lynch knew it was a miss off the boot. I don't believe that's the point Curly's raising. The rule is quite clear. Unless the video is conclusive, the go...

Re: The AFL and cheating
Obviously you don’t care about logic, so I won’t make another post after this one, but the winner of tonight will play the loser of Melbourne v sydney, then if they win play either collingwood or geelong. Of the two teams playing tonight, who is going to draw a bigger crowd at the MCG for the next t...

Re: The AFL and cheating
So the afl agenda is against Richmond as well as the saints? Last thing they want is Dusty standing on a podium Blatant cheating. This the first time he has done something that the AFL wouldn’t be happy with? But they were happy for him to be on podiums, winning brownlows, winning norm smiths in pa...

Re: If Brad Hill chooses to leave do we have to pay
Another suggests trading: North Pick 1 to St Kilda St Kilda Pick 9, 27 plus Hill to North Don't like it. But #1... I’d snap that up in a heart beat No way that offer would go on the table If that was offered, especially with north taking on Hill’s contract, you would sign it and sprint to afl hq to...

Re: Pyss off Lloyd ya flog
What I don’t get about the whole ‘should have let Lloyd help him’ argument is was it ever suggested that this would be a several times a week, at the club/during training session role or just an hour or so a week session, chat and advice when needed thing? If it’s the latter, what is the forward coa...

Re: Sandy v Coburg ...1.05 today
Not sure But you need to pay 95% of the cap No one else wanted to come to StK Should we have paid a C grade player 800? Pretty sure we actually had to pay the full cap, can’t keep paying 95% after doing it for a few years so we really needed to pay someone and hanners was the lucky one available.

Re: Ratts gets 2 year extension - email from President
Dear ......., I hope this note finds you well. It is my pleasure to be writing to you this morning to confirm that the club has finalised a two-year contract extension for Brett Ratten as Senior Coach of our AFL team. As the leader of our men’s program, Brett has secured significant buy-in from his ...

Re: Hannebery to play next week
The valuable lesson to be learned here is there are no shortcuts. Buyer beware ... We need to fully focus on robust, young, healthy, skillful midfielders ... and not ignore/overlook them in future drafts - especially when they are top 10 picks. Will we learn from this ... we are St Kilda, after all...

Re: Goal Kicking
Is it an indictment on our club that the guy sitting equal 8th on our goal kicking table has not played since round 6??? Not really. The bulldogs and lions have scored the most goals this year, they both have 9 or 10 players above 6 goals before tonight, so Jack being equal 8th on 6 goals is pretty...

Re: Another 'Event' Game
Professional clubs also hire people to run everything about the promotion and staging of the event games! It would take the actual football staff including players about 30 minutes out of the week to take a couple of photos in the jumper. If that is distracting anyone from planning or preparation fo...

Re: Pudding McCussion
Every player has injuries and concussions. The number 1 issue preventing McCartin from holding his spot in the St Kilda team in 2016 and 2017 was his fitness. This was after being at the club for 3-4 years. Richo was soft. Couldn’t get the best out of Paddy because he wasn’t tough enough on Paddy A...

Re: Did anyone see what Eddie said on CH 9 News tonight?
I watched all of the pitch on footy classified last night. I have no idea who Eddie is suggesting would be supporting this deal. North? Maybe, if it was either take the deal or lose AFL support. Tassie football? Again, maybe. If they were told it is this or no team at all. Other clubs? No way, why w...

Re: Where is Josiah Kyle playing
Not vital Appropriate Communication with members is pretty important imo Good clubs do it well If he has found it too hard as Tony suggests, maybe the club is trying to help him work though it and get him back in the fold. I doubt putting out a statement that a young indigenous cat b rookie is not ...
