Re: Watters "Clear headed"

What if we were thinking of trading say Dal and McEvoy for pick 1, and picking up say Aish and Scharenburg (or whatever two top mids). How would that sit with people? Or Dal and Gilbo (or Dal in some other combo)??? Everyone keeps looking at Boyd for the number one, but what if we're concocting a w...

Re: Possible trade

The Pelican and Watters have both told us they are working on filling the age gap created by years of ordinary recruiting. They also told us there were so many holes in the list that it would take a number of drafts to shift the age balance and to find the players that would remedy some of our glari...

Born in December, so not you... More middle age bracket... Not eligible to play U18 after he was drafted, so whilst he was still 17 when drafted, he was not as young as say, Ball, Goddard, Steven, Maguire who were born April/May and were clear bottom agers I would have replied to your post, only I ...

It will definitely have something to do with the Saints, i'm tipping it's where they are teaching Siposs to become an elite player

Linen House Centre

The Linen House Centre must be too small already. I went past it again today , on the Peninsula Link, and i'm sure I saw a portable shed up against the back wall. Is this where the development coaches dwell, or is it the home of training services.... Anyway, not a good look but probably a necessity..

Re: Possible trade

It would take some very astute drafting and trading before the current list was considered "fine".

There are quite a few gaps that need filling, still, we now have some good people at the club working those angles.

Re: Arryn Siposs

for me Siposs has shown some great flashes...hes only 20 and has shown plenty. Wasnt he a very young player in his draft and this infact suggests that he could of gone a lot higher than he did the next year. I think he will do very well, everyone just needs to chill out and let him learn...hardly a...

Re: Arryn Siposs

One of the points I cryptically made in my previous post was referring to the fact Siposs was the pick before "LES" ala Paul Seedsman. If you don't know the term LES then Oh Brian will help you out.... Les is going OK, Siposs needs to get on with it.... ROUND FOUR 61 Adelaide Crows –...

Re: Josh Saunders 11 possies and a goal in 1st half!

Farren would be my choice of the guy to trade out. He isn't going to get anything else out of himself but is just a little messy with kicking and less adaptable than a few of the others. Sounds like a guy who we wont get anything for then. more saying trade him so he can extend his career not becau...

No. That's not correct. He's always been pick 75, ever since they called out his name in 2010, he was the pick before Les.

I hope he makes it, he has a lot of work to do though before he catches up to his suggested potential.

Maybe Micale should invite Siposs down to the academy, show him what they do there and how he, Siposs, might benefit from a few visits.

The rebuild is going along OK, it's just very slow, as long as it's not like Melbourne's where we have to rebuild the rebuild, constantly, then, I can wait patiently for it come around again. I don't think I can wait through a long 1971 to 1997 era again though, time is of the essence for some of us...

I have no idea what his future holds, it'd be nice though If some of our young players went on with it and became very good AFL players..

It would be even better if some became Great AFL players, very hard to judge at the very start of their careers...
