Re: Hickey to Wet Coke
Recruiters are firing up again and their finest is on display....hey take a really decent ruckman for our some sh!te pick #39 , oh and wait, let us give you our pick #60 because we are so scared we won't get that f@cking valuable pick #39!!!!!!! If any club member can see this trade and regardless ...

Re: If we didn't beat Gold Coast in Round 13?
I was at the Gold Coast game and it was one of the best Saints comebacks I’ve ever seen live, so much fun when Gresh kicked that goal!!! Personally, perhaps selfishly, I wouldn’t trade that memory for a better draft pick...

Re: Gaff
We lost that final by 7 pts. Plugger kicked 9 till three qtr time but didn’t get a goal in the last qtr. Dropped an easy mark in front. One of the allltime great finals games Giblett Snr cleaned up Granty and Burkey which buggered out structure. The maggot spent the rest of the game very quiet and ...

Re: 3 players in debut seasons for WCE premiership side
Kids take time blah blah blah.... Maybe you sometimes need some mature age recruits. WCE had DUI (Liam Ryan), Rioli and Venables. So we had the Coff and Clark. Clark went ok but Coff went backwards on his first year. And the big Claravino, a later pick, didn’t even get a game in our shyte side! I d...

Re: On Borrowed Time - Sorry, Another Richo Thread
Hardwick couldn't even coach his team to back-to-back flags, they should have sacked him when they had thier chance and as for Buckely, well his team will probably win the flag this week which will make their supporters furious becuase it just makes Bucks look like a genius. I hope we don't win too...

Re: No cattle, what can a coach do?
Which goes to prove that only 1 or two things need to go wrong and you go from a GF to a bottom team. We've had more than 1 or 2 things go wrong this year - we've copped a lot of injuries and didn't have a settled lineup all year - and the players that eventually returned -like Acres who was on tra...

Re: If we had the right development coaches
Not that long since Collingwood were a rabble and Bucks was dead man walking... Bit of a myth on here. Bucks has never had a season with fewer than 9 wins. He is batting at 54%. Richo has had two seasons with only 4 wins and one with only 6- so 3 very poor years out of 5. He is batting at 33%. So i...

Oh hell yeah let’s follow Melbourne’s super inspiring 11 year rebuild awesome over half way there anyway...I respect your opinion but in my opinion we should take a leaf out of there book get a decent coach , recruit players that can use the footy & the rest will take care of itself.

Re: Highlight of the weekend?
Highlight for me was Hanneberys poor (personal) game. No way the hierarchy could even contemplate recruiting him, let alone a five year deal, surely. 😳 I only saw a bit of game but stats say he had 24 possessions (8 cont), 3 tackles, 5 clearances, 5 inside 50s which seems reasonable in a team that ...

Re: Road to 2024
Guys.. the finals have cleared it all up for me. The St Kilda list has just too many holes and too few talented players. GWS had Scully and Shaw missing, then lost Kelly in the first half, yet they pummelled Sydney and kept them to 30 points at the SCG (in a final). Sydney scored a few cheap goals ...

Re: I hate Melbourne
They haven’t played finals since 2006. How can anyone begrudge them a bit of success. Easily, their fans were complete pricks the night they knocked us out at the G in ‘06 after we had all those injuries (well the ones I had the misfortune to encounter post-game were at any rate). Hope they choke a...

Stone cold, you are a repetitive f*** wit with the intellect of your average stobie pole - and a reason threads reintroduced identify those who no longer contribute to this site which, due to you and some others, no longer contribute Hickey was the dominant St Kilda player until reluctantly limping...

Re: To everyone involved at ST KFC
Classic. Play pathetic. Scratch out a weak effort win against a terrible team and think we have shown something. Best player this year injured 5 mins in, another half back out early in the third, playing against a desperate side interstate, coming back from 5 goals down at 3 qtr time. But you go wi...

Re: Can anyone remember a more bleak outlook than now ?
I started following Saints and going to games regularly in the mid-70s when I was knee-high to a dead cat and went to most games most years until I started playing local footy myself in late-80s, even then saw everything I could. In that time we “won” seven wooden spoons, including four in a row 83...

Re: Wooden Spoon Talk
Not even in the 80’s were we this bad. No offence but as someone who was there for pretty much the entire '80s week in, week out that is a stupid thing to say. Remember 1985 when we lost the first three games of the season by a combined 360 points and conceded 80+ goals, including losing to Carlton...

This is just part of the reason, or symbolic of it, that we are such a piss ant club with such a shockingly poor history. Personally, I would have NEVER entertained the thought of employing this grub. How can you trust him ?? He is a low life, aint no changing that, Very disappointed in St.Kilda. B...
