If they win, shouldn't be thinking about ways to emulate them so that we can win one as quickly as possible? I say learn from them, and see where we can improve and surpass them and the rest of the competition. isnt that what we tried with essendon, brisbane and now (apparently) sydney? Trying and ...

Why trade/delist if you're gonna bring in players from the 2s who can't get a game now. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Why not delist/trade Brooks, Watts and their ilk. Haven't been given a fair crack, and we gave up a lot to get them, so why not give them a chance? Both have been awesome...

I've gotta confess, retiring/delisting/trading those guys would result in an amazing flow of fresh blood into the place. RL would get the chance to mould the unit into the team he likes best. I'd support that, but only if it was a full-blooded rebuilding, and half-baked, non-premiership players like...

Remember when they wouldn't play NDS in 2003?

...and when they eventually put him in, he was just awesome.

Apparently he did his hamstring two or three times, but was still left out even when fit. Amazing.

Suprised me too - and good on him for being honest.

But, to be fair, I think players understand the 'heat of the moment' thing, especially if it hasn't been a shockingly bad incident.

Had Brown's eye been damaged, I'd say things would have been different.

We should just pay him whatever he is owed and then there wouldn't be an issue.

However, my deeper instinct says it's Rod's job to pay him, not the club. In his honrary capacity with the club, he personally hired him - and then fired him - so surely the buck stops with him?

Can someone tell me what Thomas has done wrong here? The statement seemed extremely valid to me - and more about agents than St Kilda. And, as an aside, why would we be worried about 'heat' being put on our club? We're not doing the wrong thing, are we? And why would GT bring it up if he was doing d...

Might be a good option - my position has changed from from kids at all cost, to chasing the eight at all costs...only because the finals will be so weak this year and anything could happen.

Vossy would be a very, very handy addition up forward this week.

Don't care what they say - hopefully it's very cocky and arrogant.

We want them pencilling this one is as a win.

Everytime our fans spruik how good we are, we muck it up, so I'm happy for all the talk to be about the Dockers this week.

Re: So this is modern day football?

Seriously, it's hard to swallow why we play like this - especially when we used to move the ball so hard and fast in 2003-5. It is? What is different about that era, compared to 2007? I'll give you a clue, this person came from Sydney and his initials are RL  Oh, I understand why it's happeni...

Worth the punt at the start of the year, but I'm almost tempted to see him Capuanoed. Looks completely out of place at AFL level. Demote immediately, promote friggen Geary if we must. We've given the boy a good salary for a year, 12 months in the AFL and a great time he'll never forget. He'll now g...

I love X, but tonight was his worst game in St Kilda colours. I really felt he cost us three goals - and that decides a game. He wasn't alone, but his once-sharp shooting has all but gone. He will hit a critical point in his career this summer when he will decide to either become an A-grade player o...

I get what you mean Dan, but think about this: Judd, Kerr, Cousins, Braun, Embley, Wirrapunda, Morton, Hurn, R Jones, B Jones, Stenglien, Fletcher, Selwood, Le Cras. West Coast have that depth to play with in the midfield. What have we got? Our first four or five, plus Jones, Birss, Thompson and McQ...

A forum is a place for opinions, we are all St Kilda fans and most of us upset with recent results. We are far too defensive and reactive and tonight from what I heard were bloody terrible. We have to put the best team on the park as long as we are in finals contention. It's a funny old game... Given the state of our list, I'd say you're crazy not to fill the team with kids, but given the state of the eight - and how pathetically weak it is and that we COULD beat any team in there - I...
