OUT: Hudghton
IN: Koschitzke
kosi should play forward to stretch west coast's defence like last time.
leave clarke and blake in the ruck.
they were good today and if it's not broken don't fix it
same attacking game plan as today and we should win it

Nick Riewoldt said on SEN after the match that NOTHING had changed in terms of gameplan and structure during the week, and that the players had just worked on executing what Lyon wanted looked like the 2004-2005 game plan to me. whatever it was it worked a treat. i agree with you Life Long Saint ab...

Was One on One, with a bloke called Heath Black 4 times today.......won three of the contests.....drew one... Interesting to see the supposed 'hard nosed Black' running around behind the pill getting handball recieves...............whilst 'fiona' was running through the middle, generating play....b...

3. G-Train
2. X. Clarke
1. R. Clarke.
Special mentions to Goose (good to have you back son), the Fishers, Fiora and virtually anyone in a Saints guernsey

that's more like it ... end of the flood?
... thought i'd jumped in a time machine and travelled back to 2004-2005 the way we played today. gone was the ultra-defensive uber flood and negative mindset. instead we played positive, attacking football and backed ourselves .... and surprise, surprise .... we won in a canter. funny about that. b...

I hope Raph plays the full game forward, we have been breaking down all year across half forward with only the 1 target (Roo). Having Raph and Voss as extra marking targets could be just what the doctor ordered. couldn't have said it better myself. imo this has been our major weakness since hammer ...

And how did Thomas's game plan fail exactly, genius? Must have been in that it won us too many games and enabled us to score too many points!!   the lesson out of all this, teflon, is that if it's not broken don't fix it. i am looking forward, mate, not back ... i don't particularly...

The key this week is getting our hands on the footy through the middle blake in ruck is a step in the right direction imo. at least we don't waste a spot on a big bloke who might win a few more hit outs but does nothing around the ground. goose is also a ruck option. i can remember him performing c...

Think you are all being harsh on Raph, the boy can play IMO and will eventually be best 22 permenantly. .... I am befuddled that we would have come to the point where Blake is a ruckman again. i've always thought that raph would make it, too, provided his attitude and work ethic is there. he has ta...

who has a 'plan B'? nobody has a 'plan B' the reasons why plan A don't work are things like skill execution, pressure and tackling, talk and etc... all are things that a) won't change in a 'plan B' and b) would cause plan B to fail as well there is no magic button, no easy switch...if your plan A i...

Re: Harsh realities...
with great sadness i agree with you about harvs and thommo
however i still think fraser has something to offer and would benefit from a more attacking game plan. he's only 31 or 32 isn't he?
as for hammer, give him one more shot at it. one more injury and its curtains

i genuinely thought we'd be a contender, especially given what i now know to be our very good run with injury in the second part of the season after all, we were told that GT couldn't coach a pig to be dirty and anyone could coach our list to the finals etc, etc. i'm very disappointed by what i've s...
