I thought Paddy advanced today in his development.

Did not clunk his marks, got to a lot of good positions but was often bypassed, or received poor delivery.

Could have kicked three or four.

Get games into him, and when he leads, kick it to him. (Hopefully with a decent pass)

My only concern with McCartin is keeping him on the park. I have no doubt he was the right choice & he will be a gun forward, and has shown plenty already.
One gun forward is worth 2 top midfielders - and midfielders are much easier to recruit/poach.
