With his contract situation up the creek with the NRL, I think it would be worth getting him.

Has shown he can kick it a long way (used as 3rd choice kicker, placing bombs 10m out). Everyone knows he is an elite talent.

He is about 15kg over for AFL but that could be lost over 2 seasons.

Would definately be worth the 600k salary in advertising alone. Pay him as a rookie outside the cap.

He is only 23 - would be interesting to say the least

He loved Melbourne as well!

To the original poster, he'd never leave rugby league and if he did contemplate a move to the AFL it wouldn't be to a club that is paying close to 100% of the salary cap.

Think GWS or a team like Essendon that is not only a big club but has plenty of room in its salary cap because of its ordinary list.

Anyway it will be the Rabbitohs with plenty of third party deals attached. To think Storm let him go to Brisbane for "compassionate reasons" to be with his girlfriend. Haha!
