We are still in need of a new sponsor for 2011. Maybe we should give Dick Smith a call??

It should be easy to convince him, just as long as Dick doesn't want to hang around too much..........

On a more serious note, I reckon we should approach Facebook to sponsor us given their involvement in all this.

A couple of million per year, for say five years, could help to heal some of the damage done (to the club not the individuals that is).

I think it goes without saying that is simply HAS TO BE ANSELL. I mean think of the synergies here people. Saints players get supply of a product they could clearly use - AND THEN become ambassadors for the use of the product.

The State Government has already become involved in sponsorship of AFL clubs via TAC, WorkSafe, Quit etc.

Therefore I suggest

The cold reality is that no major sponsor would touch us at the moment.
Only the Catholic Church has a poorer reputation.


The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules. 
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
