A great reason to be part of Saintsational. Thanks for sharing these memories.

A good standard for so long ago. The dropkicks are now a lost art.

The football looks a little larger/more rounded than today's football.
Have the dimensions changed at all?

Great to have a look at this - gee the standard and quickness of the Cats game was an eye-opener. I haven't watched any of the older footage for a long while, you do forget a bit and tend to think a lot of the players from olden eras are plodders - how wrong is that !!

I haven't seen or heard of Reed before - had a bit of toe....why did he retire so early?
Also, for those that may know - Darryl Griffiths had/has agreat reputation, he played 120 odd games - why did he retire so early?

Kevin Roberts missed the 1966 year (and flag) was he injured.
Jim Guyatt retired early due to a knee injury.

We should have won more than the 1 flag through this period with the absolute stars we had.
Could say the same about the current era also !!!

Pretty sure Griffiths did his knee. Probably would have missed 6 games now.
