I have a copy - but my brother bought one of the limited edition leather bound copies (number 1 to 100) - you could pick the number you wanted - he asked for 66 and got that one!

As part of deal was an invitation to the book launch at the MCG - he couldn't go so I went - got signatures of most of the 66 grand final side indie the front cover & many current day players/coaches at that time in the back cover of my book.

Sounds like a good investment now.

Thats the price I got the Heroes With Halos for at the last game of (I think) 2002 (Spida cost us a win against Geelong).

Had gone out of print, so they were flogging off the last few copies. I think that makes up for being a kid at the end of '96 and wanting to buy a sample of the Fitzroy stuff the AFL shop was chicking out super cheap but not thinking ahead enough to do it.

Find that very interesting.I have a leatherbound edition myself. Just inside the front cover is the info- You have no.66 of a limited edition of 250. Bought mine from the club when it was issued. Think it cost me $200. One of us is wrong!!

When I looked I came up with one concluded in Dec

maybe they think they have 'The point of it all- ' pretty sure I have seen it still in the odd bookshop for much less than that

no end date so i guess it's just a purchase item.

I already have that anyway.
don'd need a membership card...

Very interesting read - I have both books and sorry, but could not dream of parting with them. I think they should remain in posterity with those who love St. Kilda which means I'll pass them on to my two sons who no doubt will do the same one day! Go you good things.

good work- as I said I can only assume those coming on the market are from families who don't follow the saints as closely as the original owner or need the funds..

Well done Saintbrat!
Do you have both HWH and TPOIA?
Both are excellent excellent reads/references.

already had HWH-
and up untill recently hadn't even looked for TPOIA as I assumed it wouldn't be available- untill I read it had been seen in a Second hand bookstore-
don't know what it went for there

there have since been 4 on ebay.. and this one went for the least- starteda t the smallest so seller obviously had no idea of worth...
